Trader Vallarines sells a collection of augments which raise the purity of the armor to which they are added. This increased purity magnifies both the positive and the negative changes made by whichever powersource you have equipped. The "Crystalline" augments fit into group gear (type 13) while the "Phosphite" augments fit into raid gear (type 14). The augments give 5, 10, 15, or 20 extra purity, depending on which you get.
