The raid progression begins with Sergeant Kazzar in Sunderock. You will need to complete Captain Zheren's mission arc before you can get Kazzar to talk. Once done he will offer you the 24 man raid for Kellak titled "Into the Leviathan's Lair". Once flagged for Kellak, go speak with Zhubis for the task "The Pretender" (requires kindly faction) and Jenray for the task "Severing the Strings" (also requires kindly faction). These are single person tasks, untimed, and are completed during the next raid. Speak with Kazzar again and get the 54 man raid for Vergalid himself. It is during this mission that "The Pretender" and "Severing the Strings" will be completed.

Once you've done the work for Kazzar, you have two options. Once ally to Infiltrators you can speak with Zhubis to get the task "A Complex Diversion" and the raid for Stitch. Additionally, when ally to Scholars you can speak with Jenray to get the task "Ghosts from the Past" and the raid for Sothgar.

Both Stitch and Sothgar will give a flag upon their death. With both flags, ally faction to both, and completion of the two tasks "A complex Divrsion" and "Ghosts from the Past", you speak with Zhubis once more and are given "The path begins with a single step". It leads you to Jenray, tell her "ready" and she will open a portal in the lava. Click on the portal to be transported up (Ally to both is required to click the portal) to a new area where Drizlorn resides. Drizlorn is the final NPC which offers the Ashengate North raids.
