Evidence of Lorekeeper Undergar's treason was being delivered, but never arrived. Fergarin suspects that Kangur Vatta Veor, the spider queen, has devoured the courier. Dispatch the spider and recover the evidence.
You enter the instance through a door in Valdeholm. It can be accessed from either the KoS side or from the tunnel beside Fergarin. Once inside, invis and lev and move to the pit. On the east side is the spider queen.
On initial agro, 12 grey con spider adds spawn. These are low hp low dps adds that are more annoyance than danger. Destroy them while tank builds agro on Kangur. Kangur has a self buff, Limbfreeze Poison, which gives her the ability to proc Limbfreeze Poison Innate, a 7kdd + 2 sec stun, -400 poison resist. Consistant use of beneficial dispel will nullify this. In addition, she has an ae, Limbfreeze Breath, a 1k dd/dot with snare. 18 poison counters and -450 poison resist. Its a 100 range spell, so casters can avoid it.
Around 77% three level 75 spiders spawn. These are mezzable, lock them down and kill them off one at a time. The three spiders proc Iceweb Blast, a cold based 500dd and root. Once the three spiders are dead, resume dps on Kangur. Another set of 3 add around 47%, lock down and kill these as well. Resume dps and a third set of 3 spiders add around 17%. Take them down and finish Kangur off.
The raid has a 36 hour lockout. Everybody gets a "Letters of Evidence", and Kangur drops one of the three items:
