I was just wondering if anyone has an up to date link to where the Autofire can be found? EQHunter seems to be gone :<(
If anyone can help that would be insanely great!

In the past, the litmus test has always been whether or not you react like a human or a program with the GM shows up.
However, at the Summit, Grumbuk said that they were about to roll out software to detect hacks which would automatically suspend accounts.
My thought is that this probably will not include foragebots, but rather actual active hacks (warping, item dupes, nodrop handoffs, etc.).

Forage bots like we discuss in our alchemy forum aren't macros or hacks. I'm sure you're far too elite to correct your lingering ignorance, but please get off the soapbox and leave alone the people who have better things to do with their lives than bottomfeeding in Sebilis. None of the "hack/macro detection" is going to stop those you hold in such disdain, because, get this: it ain't illegal. Your stupid /petition test wouldn't get anyone in trouble, either. GM would send a couple tells, shrug irl when he discovers you're afk, and go on with his life. You should, too.

Why make more than 1 button when you can make 1 that does both.
/doability 2 (if 2 is your forage in abilities page)
/pause 10
/autoinv

Well, that certainly clears everything up.

Personally, I wouldn't sweat leaving your ranger/druid up overnight with an autofire/script/gamepad hitting your forage button. I think SOE have bigger fish to fry than to go after this extremely borderline activity.
As an aside, can you not set up an in-game macro something like:
/doability (whatever the number for forage is)
/autoinventory
/autoinventory
/autoinventory
so that you'd only have one button to press (perfect for the gamepad/autofire situation).

Its a technical device true, but when I said no input devices I meant that there is absolutely nothing connected or installed on the computer. Nothing at all that can be tracked or found through your connection. I used to use it while I was in classes at college so it only went unattended a few hours at a time anyway. Mind you though, I haven't used one since just after the velious release at any rate.
