Starting a shaman - race and diety information

i'm getting off topic here, but exactly how useful is sneak strictly for the purposes of getting past mobs anyway? the reason i ask is, after the introduction of spirit vail, suddenly it looks like a lot jucier ability. other than for quests and merchants, i'm sure it wasn't good for much before that, since having invis fade when you're walking .5 mph in a dungeon probably isn't a good thing. 15+ minutes of invis is pretty nice though.

my impression was that other than allowing a player to move while hidden, all sneak did was made mobs indifferent to you if you were out of their field of vision. if that is the case, i don't really see how you could make it much further in a dungeon type zone than you could without it. is that all it does, or does it also lower agro radius?

While soloing u can still get stunned with bashs and slams while backed into a corner, if your an ogre those won't even effect ya. I solo alot, it makes soloing WoS named, zlandicar and many others so much more easier on me.

I played high level shaman as iksar and vah shir, Also played barbarian a while and if I was to restart, I would go with vah shir again no hesitation. I'm a sneak addict now, very usefull for CRs, quests, merchants etc ...
