Republican Congressman Guilty

Republican 8 term congressman and vietnam hero admits guilty of takign 2 mil+ worth of bribes from defense contractors and steering them contracts.

As a pro-republican conservative here all I can say is I hope they throw the book at him. While I have my doubts about the Delay case, this person has admitted his guilt. Saying you are wrong is good, but he still needs to bear the consequences of his illegal action and should do a long stint in jail (and not a country club one either).

An argument oculd probalby be made for treason as he was steernig DEFENSE contracts to companies. I honestly don't know if that could class as treason, or if they coudl maek it stick. a lot of things I have seen Dems* do in my mind was treason also so maybe I am too quick to jump to that conclusion.
