5 Guilds on The Rathe have taken OMM down. My guild will take a stab at him when we're in Anguish when we've got the forces to work on him. Our first real attempt got us down to 69%. Not too bad if you ask me

The event is significantly easier with level 75 now (AEs much more resisted, increased survivability) which did let us beat only after a few trys at 75 (like 2 or 3 and we had 5ish try at lvl 70 but had given up).
Once you got the event down it is worth doing, especially as after some time the anguish piece people are missing is BP.
We clear anguish + OMM in under 2 hours now with 30-35 people. Obviously we've been in anguish for a while but I sincerely believe it is worth trying for people that only recently broke into anguish (especially if you got 30-45 min left once you killed AMV). He is significantly harder than the rest of anguish, but once people have the audio trigger and do equip and click their mask you'll win easily (it doesnt require more people than Jelvan). The 2 charmed pets are actually dealing so much dps that the only numbers that count in the raid are how many tanks, how many enchs and how many clerics. On our first successes we were easily going through 4-5 tanks but it improved as most people started to click their mask.
It is an unforgiving mob, but I've seen worse (daosheen AE at 10 and 5%
by ex ...)
