Help with Tribute

I'm sick of farming PoP zones for personal tribute items, I have somewhat limited play time and the last thing I want to do with it is farm gray mobs (I hate it that SoD/UF drops have so little trib value, it forces players to leave good zones from time to time for trib). I bazaar dive once in awhile for trib items but that, too, is time consuming looking up item after item to see what the trib value is. I am wondering if there are any easily tradeskillable (low trivial) items with a reasonable tribute value. I'm only at 217 smithing and I don't want to spend an eternity farming components (back to farming grays) so I guess I'm looking for something that I can sell for modest trib value but make in bulk. Any ideas?

Or am I totally barking up the wrong tree? Should I stop whining and just stick to farming PoP as the most efficient way to farm trib? Or are there particular items that are usually available in the baz with a reasonable trib value?

Another question - I generally only run the armor class trib (+80 ac), what do most of you run? Heroics too? Anything else?

I run AC, flurry (not a great DPS boost), mana regen, and I think heroic STR. The concept was to help while soloing and raiding when I needed the extra edge. I won't make any grand statements, the minor edge this gives me is just that, minor.

That said, I usually still farm PoP targets for tribute items. Catch the Carp cycle, easily solo'ed with 5 names, all dropping high trib items. I catch one of those and I'm good for a fairly long time.

Thanks, I missed out on PoP so I wasn't even aware of the Carprin cycle, I just thought Carprin was a PITA that got in my way when I was soloing crypt of decay back in my 70's! Looks like an easy way to go, I'll give it a shot.

i've been doing the LDoN raids for the 15% spec augs, the trash is green but drops stuff like 30k hammer, 27k hands, sleeves, boots, etc and tons of other stuff. LDoN's have been one of the best ways (for me) to get tribute.

As far as TSing goes, i believe SOE nerfed Boneset leaf which you used to turn in for lots of tribute (buy for 2g/stack tribute for 1200/stack). Now i look for primordial driftwood bows (50k each) and if you're doing pottery, you can tribute the star ruby steins for around 200ish (instead of destroying them). Basically you either have to kill greys/greens or have a higher trade skill (from what i've been able to find out).

riou did a parse for flurry AA before and after tribute and posted it in . Result was 1.8 fpm without tribute and 2.6 fpm with tribute (0.8 gain). Parse was over 21k seconds and shows dps gain.

i do the HP (strength of body), AC (bulwark of Honor), and Flurry (Fury of Combat) tributes. 210 cost and i can keep it running for quite a while.

Depending on your race, some of the old blue diamond cultural gives a lot of tribute, if you do smithing at even a lowish (200+ level).

I know some of the human bps (which cost like less than 1000 pp to make, even if you bought the drops) tribute for 23k or so each.

I farm cash then buy tribute items if you swarm kill in places like RoI that yields good plat or oozes in CC are low hp and drop good vendorables............ when i was last broke i spent a good amount of time killing oozes for money drops made a few thousand plat per aa hour or so there and the xp while it wasnt fantastic it did move.
