SoD group gear versus Last Blood

Hey guys, do you think it would be wise to upgrade my Last Blood/elegant/sublime armor with SoD group armor? Obviously I am level 85, and am referring to the top tier group armor that's 700 HP's un-auged. Keep in mind that I am NOT referring to serpent seals or any other seals...ONLY last blood as that is what I am currently wearing. Thanks tons for any feedback!

You'll take a minor hit in AC on most of the pieces, but you will gain alot of other stats and mod2's, plus the advantages of having Heroic stats in higher amounts. Add in a power supply and with the larger amounts of aug slots for purity augs and such and you'll come out on top. Its probably a good move.

You gain ~10ac per piece with power source in, and gain heroics at > 1:1 with lost base AC. Heroics are worth WAY more than 1:1 ac, btw. It's absolutely the right move, huge upgrade. Serpent, Sunshard, and Faycite Seals aren't any more ac than Last Blood, btw.

The full suit of Tier5 class armor offers 10% shielding and 26 avoidance

Elegant with Sublime alone is 7% shielding and 27 avoidance.

Add in 4 melee augs (cleave, ferocity, dodge, parry) you gain 2% shielding each for 8% more.
If you add in 4 other Last Bloods you gain 9 avoidance each for 36 more.

Fully decked in LBs is 18% shielding and 63 avoidance.

Of course with the LBs you could get 2 parry augs and swap 9 avoidance for 2% more shielding.

I don't know if that is worth considering as well, but the mod2s on our group armor is just weak nowadays.

Saldy, our SoF prismatic set is offering better mod2s than tier5 SoD armor. 12% shielding and 26 avoidance.
