BP Click/Focus requested feedback

Ngreth has requested some feedback for class specific Breastplate Clicks and Focus from the last 2 expansions (SoF and SoD). Here are the BPs for quick reference (lemme know if you see any info that needs corrected):

Secrets of Faydwer

Group tier 5:
Clicky: - Add proc, Duration 2.0 minutes, 76 heal, counter poison/disease/curse 1 each.
Focus: - 19% mana efficiency for all ranks of Burst of Marrow (normal group mana pres is 15%).

Raid MMM:
Clicky: - Add proc, Duration 2.0 minutes, 76 heal, counter poison/disease/curse 1 each.
Focus: - 25% mana pres for all ranks of Burst of Marrow (normal raid mana pres is 22%).

Raid Crystallos:
Clicky: - Add proc, Duration 2.0 minutes, 152 heal, counter poison/disease/curse 2 each.
Focus: - 25% mana pres for all ranks of Burst of Marrow (normal raid mana pres is 22%).

Group Earth:

Group Kuua/Korafax:

Ngreth wants to know, is which BP Clicks/Focus in the last two expansions (SoF and SoD) are considered undesirable? Also, what are some suggestions for future Expansions?

Please keep this discussion on topic. Just BP effects... not anything on any other item slot at all, no other spells, not other mods or stats... just the focus, worn and click effects on the recent BP's. There is no promise that any suggestion will be taken, and that actual damage/heal (or effect) is set. I.E. he won't be taking suggestions to do 30000 damage. All BPs are to be roughly equivalent in their niche.

Also. BP's are likely to continue to share timers. He wants only one of these used at once, not every one you can collect. It is unfortunate that some old BP's are overpowered.... that does not mean he will continue to give something overpowered just because something old is overpowered. I.E. we will not continue mistakes just because they were made in the past.

That said, here is what I've submitted so far:

Desireability:

Secrets of Faydwer:

Clicky:
- Group Chromasteel/Raid MMM: Ferver (72 heal proc with cures) Its not exactly spectacular.
- Raid Crystallos: Righteous Fervor (152 heal proc with cures) A little better, but not too many were thrilled about it.

Focus:
- Group Chromasteel: Burst of Morrow Efficiency (19% mana pres for Burst of Morrow) Decent, but boring. Base group mana pres is already 15%.
- Raid MMM/Crystallos: Burst of Morrow Efficiency (22% mana pres for Burst of Morrow). Boring and Lackluster. Base raid mana pres is already 22%.

Seeds of Destruction:

Clicky:
- Group Earth: Just Fervor (72 heal proc with cures) +1 to the cures, but same exact heal amount as Chromasteel. Not really an upgrade.
- Group Kuua/Discord: Virtuous Fervor (152 heal proc with cures) Exact same as Crystallos Raid. Upgrade for groupers.
- Raid Discord Tower: Virtuous Fervor (152 heal proc with cures) Exact same as Crystallos Raid. Not an upgrade at all.
- Raid Tower + Group Essence (4.5): Impeccant Fervor (277 heal proc with cures) Decent upgrade finally. Haven't heard much about this from anyone, so I don't know how well its liked.

Focus:
- Group Kuua/Korafax: Burst of Dawnlight Efficiency (19% mana pres) Group is now 17%, so instead of boring like SoF, its now Boring and Lackluster.
- Raid Earth/Korafax/Tower: Burst of Dawnlight Efficiency (25% mana pres) Same as SoF -> Boring and Lackluster. Base raid mana pres is already 22%.
- Raid Tower + Group Essence (4.5): Burst of Dawnlight Efficiency (27% mana pres) Decent, but /boring.

Click Suggestion:
We're on a DPS kick nowadays. Maybe the Click can be DPS orientated this time around, while the Focus is heal orientated. (or vice versa):
- DPS: Add Proc "Crusader's Smite" for some nice DD Proc DPS.
- Heal: Bigger upgrades to the Furvor clicks for the heal side, but I dunno about 3 expansions in a row...would rather have the DPS click.

Focus Suggestion:
Burst line is the right spell to be focusing, but 3 expansion in a row now we've gotten a slightly higher generalized focus for it. Kinda /boring. Something slightly more unique would be cool:
- Heal: + 10% or 20%(?) Crit heal modifier for New Burst.
- DPS: + 10% or 20%(?) Crit DD modifier New Crush (the bigger one).

Click Effect - How about a large DS, to allow a dps boost when Tanking
Click Effect - Don't know if codeable but any mob hitting you picks up some amount of hate and this hate stacks with each hit, mob gets angrier and angrier at Tank, would possibly work like AE aggro but would require the mobs to hit you to trigger.

Focus Effect - With the stagnation of our group heal something that would work on that spell alone.

That would be nice, but steer away from Aurora, its cast is already pretty good and the less the devs look at it the better. But a reduction in cast time of group heals would be welcome, and it can be either tied to a spell or tied to a timer either would work for basically one spell. I think if it worked on both timers then the 'priest' classes might bitch somewhat.

The clicky on the Bp is something I would never even bother clicking. The downside... I have no idea what would be something that I would use in a Bp clicky that wouldn't be considered overpowered. *shrugs* I just know in it's current state, it sucks.

As for the Bp... I would rather have an agro mod personally.

for effect i would prefer an aggro mod also (perhaps a stun that triggers healing light)
for foci i would prefer increased heal to burst or group

Would it be so impossible to ask that the focus effect work on a line of spells rather than just one spell? Even if it follows a similar juncture of degrading slightly with the level changes. In that case I'd like to see a small but decent boost to the focus effects, and have it effect the burst line, so that way I'm not using a spell from last expansion just because i've not beaten this expansion yet.

I mean, the BP is usually off the boss mob of an expansion for raiders, its depressing to get a focus that only works on an outdated spell.

If the clicky is to be kept as it is, look to atleast double the heal value, 270hp for the top one when you buff up to 60khp is plain useless, also up the mod and remove cure point (tends to be detrimental sometime, and wont be enough to cure anything serious) .

In terms of defensive, I would love to see the group heal type clickie.

In terms of offensive, what about something similar to the undead nuke recourse, a 10% damage boost for a short duration, available for all mob types

a couple possibilities for clickies:

1) Clicky that all spell nukes are Crit'd during its time period (Crushes and Undead nukes)
2) Similar to the sk spell, All Spells and attacks get a ##% Agro boost stackable with EoA items.
3) Just 1 huge DD clicky unresistable.
4) Powerful HoT clicky. Not as powerful as our LoH, but WAY more powerful than our Spell/hot pot. LIke a 4k HoT.

for Focus:

1) Spell Haste, Mana Pres, or Healing Focus for Aurora
2) Decrease reuse timer for all Damage spells by ##%
3) Decrease reuse timer on Burst line spells.

The one clicky I can think of that I'd like to see...

50% chance of Self DI for the next 5 minutes or something like that. Yes, I'm still mad about not getting self DI but the druids and shammies getting it.

I would like to see them going back to the stun reverse-procs clicks personally.

I would like a proc type spell that can combine dps and heal capabilities. Something like the "Hand of Vengance" procs that usually is on priest weapons (group heal for lets say 400 to 500hp on proc) and some interesting DD part with a proc modifier. Would be a nice clicky to use for dps, for agro and for heavy heal situation.

And the knight without hate focus in Boukk guild it is me .

Anything but a defensive stun proc click

We already have 2 expansions worth of defensive stun proc bps - they were never capable of stunning relative content, the only thing they have ever been good at was generating ae aggro. Since healing light was added in they now proc that which is nice when pulling several mobs or when offtanking a mob during a raid for the group heals that might fire. However since all bp timers will be the same (as per hulking) there is no use in adding in another proc that is the exact same and will do what the other 2 already do because they won't stun relative content therefore the older versions would work just as well. A NEW proc would be cool - no more copy and paste.

Perhaps on the DPS end of things, maybe a 2 min duration proc, but the other effect of it would be that it would increase dramatically our chances of firing any procs on us. So the effect would look something like this:

1: Add randomname001 effect
2: Increase mod proc by 400

So the actual proc added could be something like 600DD with a normal proc rate of 100, but ALL of our procs that we have on us including weapon procs and our devout fury line would fire much more rapidly, let our own crit rate help add to this as well. Would be useful for agro (with a CS proc) and DPS.

I'm fine with the clicky as is. I use it a lot and like it. If for next expansion how about a swarm pet for like 30 sec group 45 sec/min raid that does not much maybe max hit 100 and can proc like a 200 hp 1 poison 1 disease heal/cure? nothing huge but different. And if they gonna boost a spell on the foci how about boost it like a combo focus like 30 pct mana pres and double the strength of the spell? That could be done for all classes to.

Actually I think only SoF and above will be on same timer (unless they go back and change the older BPs)
