Atonement - self only corruption cure. The counters scale kinda wacky to the TSS Absolve, but it was explained that this line is solely designed for raids, so the rank 1 is gimpy.

Solemn Force - basic fast stun upgrade with -45 magic resist mod, lvl 80 cap. All other properties the same, and same timer as Sacred Force.

Solemn Touch - basic heal upgrade with 3.75 cast time
Rk. I: 2125 heal, 656 mana
Rk. II: 2305 heal, 705 mana
Rk. III: 2405 heal, 730 mana


Lesson of Contrition - basic knockback stun...same shit as before. 5.25(10) second stun duration, blah blah blah. Tried to get a revamp on this to make it more useable, didn't work obviously lol. -30 magic resist mod.

Radiant Light - basic fast heal upgrade with 1.0 second cast time.
Rk. I: 1530 heal, 569 mana

Symbol of Bthur - Single target symbol upgrade. Not sure how this came about, I don't recall anyone asking for it lol, but nice to have I guess.

Trial for Honor - Upgrade to Challenge. has -45 magic resist mod. Tried to get 1200ish hate over ride on the initial cast, still might be possible...have to work on this.

Rk. II: 845 hate when lands, 845 hate per tick for 5 ticks. 10% vie, 650 max dmg

Armor of Decorum - Upgrade to Vie Disc. 25%, 1 minute duration

Armor of Inexorable Faith - Pally Shielding Upgrade (blocks druid buff now FYI, so does Unrelenting)

Rk. III: Decrease Damage Shield for 17, Reverse Damage Shield for 30

Wave of Absolution - basic Group Heal upgrade. Same timer as Wave of Piety.

Aurora of Morrow - new spell. Was supposed to Group BoS, but couldn't get it to work right or some such. Its borked, but it has a very interesting property to it - it has a MAX mana of 5000ish per cast. Meaning, as long as you have 1 mana, you can still cast this spell, but the heal scales with the amount of mana by 1.5%. I.E. if you have 10 mana, it will heal you for 15 lol. It also puts some kind of buff on you thats not working as far as I can tell. Cool mechanics aside, the heal per mana ratio is completely wack. I don't recommend using this spell except for testing purposes....stick with the other basic heals for now. Supposedly its going to get retuned...no idea on specifics. But, I'll list current stats for the sake of completion.
Rk. I: up to 4845 mana

Force of Timorous - basic stun upgrade, same timer as Prexus. lvl 80 cap, -55 magic resist mod.
Rk. I: 2408 hate

Oathbound Protector - basic upgrade to pally Aego line
Rk. I: 2014 HPs, 92 AC
Rk. II: 2380 HPs, 105 AC
Rk. III: 2563 HPs, 112 AC

Righteous Fury - Upgrade to self imbue proc line (wheee!). ATM its just a basic all purpose proc. There is new code that adds bane damage on top of base DD. (mob type specific, undead in this case). This will be added!!! Dunno if it made it with Launch, but if not, it should be in shortly after. /happy dance

Rk. II: 305 DD (I tested higher at 325 just yesterday, dunno if this is accurate or not)

Sustenance of Tunare - almost afraid to list this here I counted 23 proc limit on rank 2. Dunno if its the same on other ranks. Healing Adept AAs do not work with this (have to verify Healing Gift). Aura, Epic Click, and AotI heal mods do work. 25 ATK, 60 STR on all 3 ranks.

MIA: Undead Nuke Upgrade - all bane nukes were removed so the new Bane code could be added to exsisting spells...problem is Paladins do not have any exsisting nukes that Bane damage could be added to lol. "yea probably" was the answer I got when asked if this spell could be added to our line up (thats a good sign). I forget exact DD numbers, but they were nice upgrades. More to come on this (I hope).

the tunare nerf hurts

more aggro, more heals, more dps and the brells of course, and that marrow deal looks cool, im thinkin when yer too low to do anything else hah. although i cant think of any instance i'd use it. i'm correct in assuming it uses all your mana right?* nvm, re-read, 5k use. real heavy cost, and not much helpful return. the damage shield deal is nice.

doesn't really feel like we made any progress forward; it's still the same class from last year without any new stuff at all, and the power cut there with tunare hah things more or less stagnate for us spell wise this round apparently

silver lining is the new aa's which help out alot, that's where our real power gain is this expansion, any mana regen additions, as well as standard power increases, help heh.

sad thing is i think they've just about drawn me out of the paladin class ;p we'll see about that though hah, but they sure are making a job of it.

Any news on if there are going to add anything to brells? And is WoT and SoT in there final form or is it having any other considerations like adding healing adept back into the mix?

In case anyone hasn't realized yet, the new heal spells @ Rk1 are worse than the old Rk2 ones with a focus for level 75 or lower.

I looked at raw data today for the new group heal and can't figure out if it's still using forgiveness timer or not, anyone know? My guild trying to figure out how we're going to deal with all the rank 3 tss spells we're suddenly starting to get (odeen down FC 1 farming has begun, and already 5 rank 3's from 2 events).

hmm well I fell in love with TSS and think it frustrating doing faction more time cunsuming thing in everquest. Plus I hate it!!!! i wouldnt have a problem with it but there like 4 different type of faction needed, am i not correct. hmm Maybe Im doing it wrong.
but Id rather be out raiding stuff or group killing than doing quests for faction. Plus when i wrote this first post i was very frustrated but this isnt gonna be my favorite expansion of EQ maybe i got excited over the hype.. but it does has some plus sides more undead/some decent exp zones. I just needed to rant. EQ still beats WOW!!!

folks asked for faction that matters once again....me included to some extent. This isn't exactly what we had in mind. I don't think the Devs quite grasp the faction intricasies of original EQ. They basically cut and pasted the Katta faction system and quadrupled it. I think it sucks ass. I'll be lucky to get ally with even 1 of the venders by the next expansion.

I'm wondering how much people are really giving the faction a chance. I have limited play time. I was also pretty wary and dreading it. And I'm already ally to Strike Force and kindly to Fangbreakers. The latter I did entirely solo, no less. They just weren't bad at all.

ive figured it takes appx 10-12 hours of work per faction to get them from dubious to ally. thats constantly repeating the same quests over and over. And im sorry, but some of our spells just aint worth 10-12 hours of work. Maybe the old code on Sustenance of Tunare..SURE. But so far, the only spell ive really pursued for faction, was Righteous Fury. The rest, ill just get em as i get em i spose. Tho for faction, the only one im looking forward to Ally on..is fangbreakers for the Emblem.

Personally, just fire these devs and bring in the next generation. Bring in a new set of devs who are actually willing to work with the CC's, work with the player base, and make the game more exciting instead of trying to nerf us all the time.
