Disruptive Persecution is now 3100 dmg, 450mana - based on what hulking said earlier in this thread the mana cost should allow for worn mod focus

so we would be looking at

((cast+recast)/7)*amount

((0.5+9seconds/7)*3100 = 4207 baseline? and then fully focused.

Doubled the damage on Inquisitor's Judgement so 2400 max still 20 proc limit @ 10 PPM (trying to get him to up the PPM to 20 so that it dumps the damage in 60 seconds)

Doubled the time reduction of Holyforge.

I was sending him pms since all of this went to test. He replied once to the bugs I submitted and then today to tell me what I posted earlier minus the stupid parts.

As far as the damage I was referring to.

In what order are mods calculated when the damage is being dealt - for instance worn magic focus of 90% from armor and then also bard song mods. From my retardedness earlier I know that +spell damage is added on at the end like heroic str adds dmg to melee.

So is it (( spell base dmg*worn focus)*spell focus) + spell dmg ? And then at what point do the aa focus the damage in the calculation such as destructive fury?

all in all if the base of this nuke is 3100 @ 450 mana cost what can we expect the max damage to be w/o 7th or glyph burning.

If I've understood it correctly it works like this:

Crits and foci are calculated separately on the base and then added together.
Taking DP as example with 90% worn focus, 35% bard focus and dest.fury6 it would be:
3100(base)+3100(crit)+3100*0.4(dest.fury6)+3100*0.9(worn focus)+3100*0.35(bard focus)=11315.

Then we have spell damage mod3 which I've read is crittable but not focusable. Assuming DP handles spell damage like a normal spell despite being an aa, with 100 spell damage we'd have: ((0.5+9)/7)*100=136. We take that number and treat it like a base value that is only crittable thus getting 136(base)+136(crit)+136*0.4(dest.fury6)=326.

So we end up with 11315+326=11641 damage on a max roll of the worn focus dice.

I may be wrong though!

you can think of it 2 ways whichever is easier to understand:

(Critmod + Focus) * Base
for destructive fury 6 this becomes: (55% crit mod) + 125% focus[90% + bard 35%] which turns into 1.55 + 2.25)
(1.55 + 2.25) * Base
or simply 3.8 * Base

the 2nd way you can think about it is:
(Base * Focus) + (Base * CritMod), again 55% crit mod = 1.55, and 125% focus = 2.25
this becomes
(Base * 2.25) + (Base * 1.55)

Anyway

at 3100 base with a 90% focus and 35% bard, with 186 spell damage (this is how much I have so I will use it to calculate! )

Spell damage mod 3 is added in the base before any other calculations
you would go, if the AA uses the cast + recast of itself instead of some set one that AA normally use:
((0.5 + 9) / 7) * 186 = 252
252 + 3100 = 3352

3352 * 3.8 = 12737 max crit with Bard 35% + 90% item focus
or
(3352 * 2.25) + (3352 * 1.55) = 12737
Remember to cut off shit after decimal because EQ does,

Add in Rank 3 Malo and you get that 16089 * 1.1 = 14010 Max Crit with a debuffed mob

If you manage to fire it while with Druid Epic on the mob it would go even higher, You can calculate out based on the AA's level how much power it would gain further from Druid Epic, but dunno the AA's "real" level so...


Now finding the average is more fun, a 90% focus is 1-90%, bard 35% spell damage aura of the poet rk3 is a set 35% its not an avg, so we get a 36% - 125% or a 80.5% average
(3352 * 1.805) + (3352 * 1.55) = 11245 should be your Average Crit

Absolute lowest end crit rolling a 1% on your focus should become:
(3352 * 1.01) + (3352 * 1.55) = 8580

If you want to know the base non crit just move it down to (Base * Focus)
becomes: 3385 at minimum focus roll, 4877 avg without bard, 6050 at Average focus with bard, 6368 at max focus minus bard, and 7542 with bard and max focus roll

all in all that AA turned out pretty nicely for some decent damage every 9 seconds

I was semi joking the other night but I doubt I'll make much use of FoD from here on out as I tie the alt activate for this AA nuke to my bash hotkey.

between this and the 400 dps baseline from inquisitors we did ok

The good thing about both of these AA is that there is room for growth each expansion. I didn't confirm it but I'm curious if he left the recast on inquistors @ 12 min since he doubled the damage. Guess I need to find that out.

also glad he cut the time on holyforge by like half - this was long overdue

Hopefully he did leave it at 12 that way you could pop it 2-3 times a fight which would be nice and with the DPS not being overly awesome but a lot better then before there isnt anything wrong with 12min reuse. I wouldnt mind seeing it dumping 20 PPM instead of 10 PPM I believe its atm ? Either way its a start and this is just a booster pack not a starter deck to the expansion ill say so im sure more might come later expansions. Did anyone happen to ask about new LH or AoTI by chance was just curious bout whats going on with those.

Aye I don't think Spell Dmg mod gets focused or critted. Though I'd have to spend some time on Test re-figuring it out.

Testing some spell damage mod3,
using previous formula (Base * Focus) + (Base * CritMod) we get
-17 spell damage = 1847 base (1847 * 1) + (1847 * 1.55) or simply Base * 2.55 in this case,
1847 * 2.55 = (4709.85, remove after decimal since EQ does) 4709, in game crit of 4709

-16 more spell damage gone gives 1802 nuke base, Crit expected is 4595, in game is 4595

So we can say Spell Damage mod3 boost does indeed add to the base and is Focusable by Focus effect and Crit boost from DestFury
