Yea, heals got damn expensive though since the mana went up same % as gain, need to cut off like 10-20% mana from each atleast

Also, Touch < Ranger/Beastlord heal is balls, nerf theirs or boost ours plz, its 200 more hp and 200 more mana, should be weaker then ours or ours above theirs

IMO can we opt to trade the symbol spell for a self only heal? Maybe there's something i'm missing but i don't think i've used that spell once for the past 2 expansions.

Looks pretty good if most/all of them actually make it into game.

As for the buffs, we might as well get used to the same upgrades that we'll always get with level increases. That means symbol (I've also found this to be nearly useless, think I've cast it twice in the last year), brells, charge (cast time keeps this off my spell lineup), self weapon proc, stun upgrades, ect. I doubt they will ever let us trade some of these out for more useful spells, although I honestly do use aego spell line for buffing people after battle rezzes or when i'm soloing. /shrug

I am a little confused that ranger/beastlord heal edges ours out a little, but in the end I don't care that much. They have one heal that matches one of my several heals, and it's not even the heal I use most often.

Self corruption cure is kinda pointless. I've not come around much that isn't already easily cured by our current self corruption cure. Guessing this is the copy/paste portion of spell design.

It would be nice to see them tweak the cost of heals, even if its just slightly, to make them more efficient than previous heals. I love that the amounts got tuned up, and I would rather pay the extra mana for a bigger single cast, but in terms of mana/heal ration we've been pretty linear the last few expansions. Still, if I had to get used to larger mana costs, as long as its healing harder I don't worry about it.

My bet is ranger/bst heal being higher than our is an oversight, it either way will be corrected imo, I d rather see our uped a bit more than their nerfed tho, with the current content dps, and what HoT is going to be, It will be needed either way.

As for HoTs, if they want them to be useful again, they need to cut their mana cost in half, it used to be some very mana efficient heal.

Bump, updated OP with all the extra values, like range, cast times, fizzle time = spell gem lockout, recast, AE range, Timer ID's, resist types, etc, updated also what the spells even do for probably 5 or 6 of em (Armor of Courage, Pureforge, Penitence, Denouncement, etc).


Also, it's weird that crush is > aggro then the stun when they used to be equal

How out of the question would be it to add 27/36/42 AC to Brell's? Put the AC component of brell's in slot 8 and it will only conflict with mage self Empyrean line and monk celestial tranquility. Monks shouldn't be using brell's anyway, and then just move empyrean line to slot 5 (which only has bracing defense and ward of tunare). Viola: Brell's is a great buff line again.

Compare:

Brell's III: 938hp

Verve III: 637hp + 103 atk

Yowl III: 179 atk + Dbl Atk +4%

Little bit of AC on Brell's would make it damn good.

My fear is rarely if they are exploitable or overpowered, but how much will the other communities complain and call for nerf or removal. I remember plenty of good ideas, non-exploitable, and altogether good spell concepts get scrapped because it was stepping on toes of other classes. Silent Piety, cone-based AE agro, I think even a pacy spell was put into beta and pulled once, wasn't it?.

I truely hope you are correct, but I'm admittingly jaded.

As for Brells, I just wish they would build in our aura 5% heal boost with it, make it so it doesn't stack with our aura. That would make it a great defensive buff. Modify our current version to have 4%, make next expansions the 5%, and then can look forward to 6% in a hypothetical expansion past that. Small, not overpowering, and it would take another 5 years before it would approach being overpowered, which HP inflation will likely counter anyway.

No it's not sarcasm. All the discs actual melee classes use are duration: 5 ticks, not 20. The highest level warrior damage disc, Brutal Onslaught (rank 3 which not so many actually have at this point, since it comes only from Solteris):
1: Increase Chance to Critical Hit by 270% with All Skills
2: Increase Chance to Crippling Blow by 100%
3: Critical Damage Mob (160)

with one FOURTH the duration.
