Question - what's the Google [Bot] and Yahoo [Bot] users purpose?

They are default profiles for those search engine indexing bots. I don't have email set to show anyway, but those profiles don't get presented with user email or website links, or the memberlist page.

Completely OT, but interesting nonetheless - here is a link that shows the fortitude of different encryption styles and key lengths and what that safeguards against.

Right now N^128 is a standard for symmetrical encryption I think and is thought to be theoretically unbreakable due to existing power and time constraints (Edit: using Brute Force)

PHP uses MD5 hashes. The passswords are not ran through encryption, they are just scrambled and returned as a 32bit string.

While that sounds like encryption, it's really not.

The new system is fine for me, but really Sam, couldn't you have just asked Zorbee what would work best for him before making any changes to your site? THAT was truely Cavalier. He's probably swearing at you in Latin every time he logs on.
