Hmmm ...

Once upon a time, there was a barbarian called Tharkis. He was different to all his barbarian friends, in a way that was hard to pin down. Perhaps it was his outlook on life, the way he resolutely walked his own path, beholden to no man. Perhaps it was the insouciant way he wore his woad.

More likely, though, it was the honking great skirt he chose to wear.


How's that for starters?

it's a KILT. Though i'm sure whoever's reading the entries would be amused by a bunch of humorous entries like that. The contest rules make it sound like they're going to publish the winning entry/nominations on eqplayers or the like, so it'd have to be something that is 'tame' though.
