The thing was with the old stamina system, if your stamina stat was over 100, the only negative side effect of an empty stamina bar was that you couldn't jump. Since many melees got their stamina over 100 during character creation, and those that didn't certainly had it over 100 well before they were high enough to recieve acumen, it really was a useless feature. For that reason, the only thing we lost with the change was the tells for a zing(mostly from melee that didn't bother to read their class boards to learn their class). Though it was fun telling my guild about the warrior in my cleric twink's pick up group that was afraid he was going to die when he ran out of stamina because I never bought the spell.
