Any way we can get them to use the exact same effects from the Solteris BP. It works great and I find it very useful. It's a real life-saver when fighting yellow and red con mobs. I personally can't imagine why someone would want something different.

This aberrent behaviour of neutralising riposts will get fixed. I 100% guarentee it

Several times it has been stated by the dev's that there is no time limit on buf fixes.
The devs has publically stated that they know this is a bug and it will get fixed.
It is intended that mobs enrage and ripost, that is known part of mob behaviour, and part of mob design.

Anyone who believes this won't get fixed is in for a very nast surprise one day. I refer anyone who things differently to the fixes done to Pet Pulling, which was fixed after 7 years.

I still like the idea someone fielded (Fenier?) that the single essence BP should have had EITHER the focus OR the click (doesn't much matter to me which), and the 4 essence BP should have had both.

Of course, the enchanter focus is so terrible...

I know it's not really surprising that the SoF Tier 3+ raid BP still has a near-useless click 7 months after release. But, seriously...any word on when/if it will be "fixed."

Now you're just talking semantics, tho. If the clicky was MGB True North and it FUNCTIONED, it wouldn't be "broken" and people would be unhappy. However, if the goal is for it to be useful... it sounds like it's not. Whatever you want to call it.

Does that mean that in your opinion, the developers intended to have useless, stupid, or worthless clickies here: this situation is not 'broken,' because it is by deliberate design that they have made these clickies useless, stupid, and worthless?

If that's what you mean, I understand why, on that basis, you wouldn't want to use the word 'broken.'

But surely you can see why others look at it and say, colloquially, "Man, this PoS clicky needs to be fixed, it's broken as hell."

the clicks are crap but they aren't broken. The design of the clicks is broken.

BP's used to be the pinnacle of any around set, now with late or missing effects/clicks they are often one of the weakest pieces.

I've got the Solteris BP, the effect on that which makes malosinitia land almost unresistably on group mobs is really good. It's so good that when grouping or soloing I use the sinitia over the malis spell, and get perhaps 1 resist in 20 mobs that a really good effect. The clicky on it which reduces resist rate for 4 my spells is also a great effect, it really helps land slow on hard to debuff mobs (such as Mledrath).
Looking at the SoF BP and it's effect, I'm really not sure it's an upgrade except for raw stats.

This discussion reminds me of the political process in the US right now. Someone latches onto a semantic distinction (the BP isn't broken, the design process is) - and everyone gets stuck discussing that, instead of... perhaps - what would be a more useful focus/clicky?

The SoF tier 3+ raid BP clicky is either a horrible oversight or simply created by someone who has very little understanding of the game. So F-ing what if the effect works? To try to defend it by saying it's not broken is possibly one of the worst arguments I've seen in here. Do the folks who are saying the effect "works" have one? Have they used it? Are they saying that the PINNACLE item of the LATEST expansion is okay because the effect works the way the developer made it??? Do they even know what the effect is?

It's a group heal for 313 hp, followed by 2 ticks of heals for 104 hp. You know how helpful that is to toons with 30K hp taking AEs for 15K+?

Our level 80 rank 1 spell 'Shade of Renewal' group heals 842 hp base per tick for 4 ticks and is boosted by foci and AAs!

Are you F-ing kidding me? We need to spend time distinguishing between "broken" and "working"?

Yes, Waring knows what the effect is. No, he's not saying the effect is okay. He's very clearly saying it's not, as a matter of fact. To conclude, yes, one must distinguish between "broken" and "bad". Any other questions?

The fact that you offered answers (though they are not very subtle in weak sarcasm) shows again the utter lack of perspective that the SoE lackeys have when it comes to the game.
