Spells:
Hungry Plague -- Alteration, mana 450, cast 3.0, Duration 1:30. Thanks Fuscia for explaining how it works because I really couldn't tell what it was doing. Lol. It would take quite a while for this to spread and be useful. Not sure of a situation I would use it.
Breath of Antraygus -- Alt, mana 700, cast 3.0, Acid DD 1200 [max crit 2700 for me]. Unlimited number of targets in cone shape. Appears to fire in direction you are looking. Positioning is VERY touchy to get good effect because the cone is narrow and short range. Don't need to target. You can just cast and spin and it will fire in direction you are looking when cast time up. Tested it a lot in EF on the green trash. I could spread them any way I wanted to test. I can't tell you how many times I would fire at a group and get 2 or 3 in the center and miss all the rest on the sides that looked like they were bunched close enough.
Lingering Sloth -- Alt, mana 500, cast 3.0, buff duration 7 mins (may have been extended for me), slow lasts 3 ticks. Cast on PC and any mob that HITS that PC will likely be slowed. Certainly good on MT/OT for clearing or over pulls. Might be good on mezzer/squishies unless the slow creates additional agro to them.
Other AAs:
Abundant Healing -- Chance your heal will have a HoT after. When it fires the HoT lasts 4 ticks and heals 300/tick. Max level of AA. The HoT is too rare to matter and not that great. If you have less than about 1000 AAs there is no reason to get it, could have a lively debate whether you should get Pack Rat before or after this AA.
Gift of Mana -- Chance your next spell will cost 1 mana. When it fires you get bard box icon that lasts 18 secs. Again, too rare that it fires to spend any AAs on -- see Pack Rat comment above.
At this point I would say only the defensive AAs and the shield are possibilities to spend points on.
Availablity of 65+ spells (other than the newest ones) looks like it will be accomplished through spell research.
There is no indication yet as to how the newest spells will be gotten.
