I'm new to the shaman class, but wanted to know if we are able to use any ranged items....like throw stones, hammers, arrows, or anything?
If so, any suggestions to items that are cheap and usable, or equipment that are able to "summon" the ranged items?
Sorry for the newb question.
Thanks.

I used to buy some type of hammer above the bank in Halas but it did not stack. But as a newbe soloing I like to see if I got more then on mob before I tryed to close in on the kill.
we are very limted on range weapons as Shaman.

I wish they'd lower the cast time on this, so it was even kinda useful for pulling.

I found Unmei's comment useful. Pretty good idea there
I'm less concerned with pulling aggro but it's still an irritant to want to break root and my million second recast sting doesn't do it. I generally don't have more than that mem'd for direst damage so I might find this useful. Alas it would prolly be an issue so seldom it still wouldn't be worth the slot in my bags...
