First spire and Glyph of Cataclysm

To maximize my dps on a raid mob - say Thornbustle - should I glyph and then spire or glyph and spire at the same time. Been taking us about 7 min to kill, so have to time to do both separately or is stacking them better?

Late i didn't look up but they don't stack do they? Gyph is higher, so it would be better than 1st? so stagger them.
I could be wrong, brain at night is not good.
Edit: Sorry, was late and now looking it up, they do stack.
