New question, for any Sky aficionados....

Is the FD quest MQ'able? That is, can a monk loot the Spiritualist ring, and then do turn-in so his shammy alt with 2 pieces can get the FD ring?

Finally found the write-up on this...

Was pointed towards this like 2 weeks ago or so, and heard about Monks being able to take the DT's of the named mobs on the Islands with some sort of AA or spell of Level 72+. Only tried it once with a Level 76 Monk, and he failed to live. Then however a Paladin guildy went up there with me and told me he'd have a spell that helps him take DT's and survive em. Said and done - and he eats the DT's for 32767 HP each time, which brings him down to like 15-18% health.

We Shaman CAN survive a DT from a mob as well, but for that our Preincarnation Spell needs to be lucky enough to work. DT's on me were always 65000 HP.

Solo'd Emerald Spiroc Feather myself (dropped only off The Spiroc Guardian for me as i could see), and i ate approximately 20-25 DT's and lost 15% regular Experience due to direct 90% PAL rezzes before i got my Spiritualist's Ring today. But it's only exp, and worth it.

Now i only need the stupid Bixie Essence, and only time i've seen it drop was off Bzzzt (buddy looted it then, he still needs the Ring - i wish him happy Farming hehe). Also only Bzzzt has Bixie Essence mentioned on her loot table, but there's a lot that she drops that isn't listed, so probably the other Bees can drop it too, just equally rare. Have had about 10 Island clearings and haven't seen any Essence anymore since.

That's the piece that took me the longest to get as well. There isn't a lot of info for PoSky on ally so trust your instincts and don't give up. Happy hunting and good luck.

Got me the VSR yesterday, buddy killed the Bee's and it was on one of the regular ones, so it's not just dropping off Bzzzt, just possible rare off ANY of them as it seems. Feels great to be a Shamonk, Shamknight or Shamancer now

The monk disc your referreing to is Impenetrable Discipline which shrugs off the DT. Then its just a matter of popping Scaledfist Disc & Whorl of Fists which should 1 round the mob

if you have a tank merc, you can send it in first and use that to take a DT.

send the dog in. Dog won't take death touch, but will cause the merc tank to agro and take it. Good idea.

Just guessin' though.


Edit: was just thinking though, maybe you get the DT for sending dog in? Might be a bad guess on my part.
