Mshas in Qvic can be one-grouped for Kanlekus gear if you have a good group that knows what its doing.

Not sure about flagging though. Maybe you need to have friends in a high end guild to get in there.

mpg trials loot for you would be very good imo.
i was at about 8500 HP(raid buffed) when i started them trials.
i found (fear) to be the easiest for me,then (weaponry)
i was only healer for some of these (we had a good tank,14500hp or so at that time).

not only they give good items,but you have a good chance to get 70 runes (spell).

we got qvic access not long ago and we ""kinda"" farm there atm.
so far i got 5 kanleku's pieces.

ARMS ....2X bracer...boots...hands.

and got my T.A. not long ago..still a great item to have

I'm in the same boat as you, nearing 9k and can't wait to get there. I did see myself hit over 9k once when a warrior in group used his epic. Wish it lasted more than a minute.

Anyway, as others have stated MPG trials are a good place to pick up some upgrades. Check out my mask. That dropped in the Fear Trial and seems to be somewhat of it's common drop considering most casters and priests in my guild have one now.

Fear is relatively easy if you got a good chanter.

Not only the mask, which I finally got but if you don't have your 1.5 and don't plan on getting it for a while, Despair is a nice weapon for your primary. The stats are just about the same as the 1.5 minus the clicky and focus effect.

I have passed on it, because obviously we can't duel weild, but if I didn't have my epic, I'd definately have gone for Despair.

We run the Fear trial with me as main healer and a cleric as a fearer on back up heals if things get hairy. It really is one of the easiest IMO

RSS at statue ,sometimes (should be same with other camps),got few named poping.
it s completely random,we can be very lucky also.
yesterday we went there and not a single named poped in 5 hours.
worst one was 1 named in 20 hours,at statue (and was at the 19th hour) (during a weekend,10 hours each time).

but rss is still the best place to get runes.
