1) where did I post that I never play my shaman? Is it in my signature? Maybe buried deep in my profile? We have enough shaman in my guild; there's no need for me to play mine during raids, so I use it in off-raiding hours. Non-shaman post here quite regularly might I add.....the purple tags give that away.
2) Where did I say I don't use Ether Flame? It has it's uses, as does hungry plague. You might not like the uses, but they are there. They're obtained thru the same process, so in my book that makes them equivalent in several respects. Equivalent in what, did you ever bother to ask? Or did you make your own assumptions? You took a single word in a sentence, and applied your logic, your values, and your standards to it to misinterpret what I originally said. It's a comparison of 2 seperate, vastly different spells where the only common denominators are the spell level, being of situational use, and their difficulty in obtaining. <<<< THAT is all I have ever said, and you simply cannot change that. Continue to skew it further if you like. It wouldn't matter if you got MGB True North as the 70 spell; it's still 70, it has the same difficulty to obtain, and it's still situational. I never debated the fact that it's a death sentence for shamans to use in high level raiding. Never. Not once. Ever. I have a spellbook full of stuff I cannot/won't use on raids, and I'm not picking the sand out of my mangina crying about it.
You don't have to agree with me, and quite honestly I don't care if you do. You have your perception of the spell(s), and I have mine. And something isn't bizarre because you don't understand it, it's something you either can't, or don't want to understand. I can't make this any simpler unless I begin to draw with crayons.
