Pack of Aina vs Fabled pet weapons

Hmm has anybody parsed this?

Seems to me that the proc from the fabled pet weapons is more dps than Pack of Aina.....

Hoping if I am right we have some levereage to argue to have that pesky mana drain go away.
I mean it would be pretty sad if this is true but I dont really have much hope Prathun would listen anyway.

Parsed one of them. The dps is very streaky. They showed anything between around 120 and 320 dps on SOD T4 mobs like murdunks last stand or tosk trash. On averange those pets may will come out around 200-250 dps. But I don't know if it can do any good to compare any weapons dps (or weapons proc) to a spell. There are already complaints on the sonyboards about those weapons dps. You may will end up to be seen to just support those laments. Those weapons are fun and useful to their owners. I feel we shouldn't mess with those, I'd rather leave all this pack spell alone; last page in the book and forget it.

I am far from an optimist but for whatever reason I cant ever give up hope that reason will win out on many of the poorly designed or implemented spells we keep getting stuck with.

Maybe it is just fear that sooner or later our whole spell book will be as useful as Pack of Aina.... We seem to be collecting more and more junk seplls.
