I have both (maxed out GOM first, then maxed AH) I have had both fire as of today. The only difference in the two is that AH seems to fire much less frequently. However, I think this may be due to the fact that I cast quick heals on others much more frequently than I do on myself. It may be firing a lot, but chances are I dont see it half the time.

I think the only way to get a good % is to chain cast heal on yourself and see how often they both fire over a given period of time.

healed myself in GH till this fired. GH makes it last forever, unlike GoM. anyways it took 12 casts of ancient heal to make it go off. also there is no text to tell you this landed, not on the cvaster or recipient, nor is there a grapphic...only a buff in short duration window
then i decided to cast regen/heal/canni to see if GOM would go off. after 24 canni, 52 regens, 59 heals GoM fired...i was about to give up and say they bocked each other maybe. but they dont.

Both abilities have extremely random fire rates. sometimes GoM will fire 3-4 times in a row (now THATS mana pres), sometimes, like tonight it didnt want to fire at all.

IMO at best these are nice aa to have, and can save alot of mana (gom atleast). AH isnt something i would rush out to get though...but if you got most of your aa done, it cant hurt. GOM though...alot of classes in my guild are adding it to madatory aa for apps

GoM is extraordinarily powerful for Necro/Magician/Wizard, because they can follow it up with their 1k+ mana damage spells that hit for millions (or whatever). For healing classes, it's more "very good" than "turbo gas." Which is just fine with me, I like "very good."

I'm not saying AH is an AA thats so good yer gunna say omg, thank god AH went off or we'd be screwed... you said its not gunna save anyone, and it definetly can. its like saying the Delay death line AAs aren't going to save anyone BUT i've seen it happen so many times at raids.
