Descendents is a well-established, experienced raiding guild originating from the Mithaniel Marr server and presently resides on the Bertox server. Our primary raid focus is UF Tier 7 and HoT raids. We are always interested in adding talented and dedicated players to our roster.
The typical Descendents member is an experienced and skilled Everquest gamer, who also leads an active and rich personal and professional life. We appeal to players who choose to raid on a Pacific time frame, and who can not or do not wish to make the sacrifices needed to raid five or six days a week. We raid three nights a week and expect to stay current with end-game content. Limiting our raid schedule means that we require total commitment from all members toward our goals.
Because of these choices, our members are mature and established individuals, both in Everquest and out. We require and recruit not only exceptional playing skills and knowledge, but also outstanding character and personality. Firestormers is looking to add one or two more HIGH playtime shamans to our raiding team. While we enjoy a low Raid Attendance requirement for members to stay on the active raid force (45% 30 and 60 day RA), we would prefer someone that can really put the time and effort in night after night to fill our empty spot(s).

General DKP and Trial Information:

45% raid attendance for 30 and 60 days, is the full member Active status.

Below this % there is a DKP bid cap restriction.

FS is a non-mandatory raid guild. However, we are raiding HoT content including tier 4 so serious raiders are preferred.

The guild membership average is between 65% and 80% raid attendance.

Raid Start times: 6pm Eastern till about 10pm Eastern Time : Sunday thru Thursday: Friday and Saturday are the usual set free nights.

FS runs a totally open DKP system :
All member DKP totals and loot history (price and purchase) are listed on the DKP page for member viewing.
Raid Dropped items are auctioned or bid upon in a loot channel all members must join.
There is no merit restrictions on general raid loot.

Trials do earn DKP and can bid on loot items even on their first raid. We expect some gear will be needed, the more raids you attend, the more DKP you earn and more loots you will get. The Average lower than standard FS trial can expect a serious hp/mana improvement before the trial is even over but only if you can put the time in.

Every FS Trial Member is added with the expectation to pass. We work closely with our trials to get them the information they need to integrate smoothly and quickly into the raid force.

so here's the skinny:

Hellfire Club is a high end raiding guild on CT that raids 4 days a week (wed/fri 8pm - 11pm-12pm EST, sat/sun 1pm - 5pm-6pm EST), currently working on HoT raiding (T1-T3)
we are currently farming fear/MC for SS raid keys - regular weeks include all of HoT T2 and T3 and convorteum runs.
HFC works on an open-bid DKP system - we have a channel, loot drops, people bid for it in the channel.

pros:
extremely relaxed attendance requirements for a guild at our tier (far as i've seen of other guilds, anyways) - we do rolling 30 day attendance, 45% is required to bid on loot, and 60-70% won't get you yelled at as long as you're around when it counts.
moderately drama free guild - there's the usual spats that you're going to get in any guild, but not anything on a Dallas level.

cons:
guild is pretty 'clique'ish, comprised of several sub-groups of friends who do things together. there's not an awful lot of general guild grouping going on... there is some, but not necessarily enough to live off of.
one would need to either make an effort to establish a network of regular groupers, or bring some friends with them to the guild in order to ensure regular off-raid activities.

CURRENT RECRUITMENT NEEDS:
2 full time paladins - higher end gear and AA count preferred, but skilled players will be taken on as raid projects if need be. we need pallies badly.

We raid 3 nights a week, monday / wednesday / friday.
Assemble at 4:30pst. Raid starts at 5:30pst and goes until 10pm pst.

Wizards, clerics, bards, enchanter, necro, rogue, zerks and shaman. (Ench / shaman / necro are high - other dps listed are medium, but other classes that are exceptional can still apply)

App's open for another 5 to 10 ppl.

We currently have 1-3 shaman

Need to be able to zone into convort. AA requirements and flags are not a completely strict requirement. If you're good people and can play then we can help with the rest. Just send a tell to an officer (wyndfoot, kariel, achrooma) for any clarifications.

Working on convort (just broke in and have 5 events down), and soon enough HoT

Dark bane uses a different loot system then most and is one of the reasons that I will die still in this guild. No more hoarding dkp. No more jerks raising the bid just so you have to spend more on an item. We use a fair roll system which I love.

we're not a bleeding edge guild in competition for cross-server firsts, but we are in the top 20 of progression guilds in EQ currently, and first in progression on the CT server.

Pros:
Extremely relaxed attendance requirements for a guild at our tier (far as i've seen of other guilds, anyways) - we are one of the top 15 guilds for progression across all servers, but with a 4 day a week evening raid schedule.
Moderately drama free guild - i'll be honest, there's the usual back-biting that tends to pop up in most raiding guilds, but it usually never seems to interfere with the actual raiding itself.

Cons:
Guild tends to be rather cliqueish, there isn't a ton of 'hey who wants to group' type action going on in guild chat, so a small bit of effort is needed to network a group of people you hang out with.
CT isn't exactly a hopping server - it's not dead, but it's pretty middle-of-the-road population wise.

SI is 3-day a week raid guild (raiding from 7:30-midnight EST / 4:30-9:00 PM PST on Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday) on the Bristlebane server. We are T3 VoA guild currently working on RT. We have beaten T3 Rubak, T3 BD, T2, T1. Our current farm targets are MC in HoT (for clickies and spell runes for newer people for un-upgraded spell lines), T1 and T2 VoA, and T3 BD. A large portion of our guild are already done with their T3 raid progress books. Our guild uses a system that is similar to DKP, called Eval, to determine loot.

Machin Shin is seeking 1 high-end Paladin.

Knowledge of class, inside and out, is a must. Max effective group-level stuff complete is not utterly required, but you should have the basics done: Augs, DoN progression, MPG trials, clickies, 90 alaran or more, etc.

You don't have to have 20k AA, but 5K or more, well-spent, is a must.

You need to not be a wilting flower. Our knights have a history of being very skilled, and very vocal.

We finished the VoA expansion #2 game-wide. We currently are farming all of VoA in about 2.5 days a week:

Sunday - 545pm to 945pm eastern.
Monday - 645pm to 945pm eastern.
Tuesday - 645pm eastern to 845pm eastern.

During progression, we will raid whenever lockouts are down to maximize flags, taking our days off while awaiting lockouts to drop. Once we enter the next expansion's end-zone, we will raid until the expansion is complete. Raid hours during this will be 545pm eastern on-time Sunday, and 6:45pm eastern on-time weekdays.

we're not terribly rigid about this, but as we are doing higher end content we necessarily need people 'physically' capable of handling the content we're on.

OUR RAID TIMES
Crimson Tempest is an EST-based guild. Regular raid times* are as follows:
PST 4:30pm - 9:00pm | CST 6:30pm - 11:00pm | EST 730pm - 12:00am | CET 1:30am - 6:00am
(* raid times may vary depending on what events are up/server downtime/etc)
This schedule is from Sunday to Friday (We do have days off within the week, depending on content and progression. Expect to raid full time when a new expansion is released). Saturday is our official non-raid day. All statutory holidays are non-raid days until further notice.

We are looking for 2 Shaman who understand that a shaman isn't just a boxed toon that can tugur the incoming and hit epic when up.
