I think what annoys me more than this spell is the fact some classes got more spells per level than others.
Much easier to ignore a bad spell when you get more spells.
Take a look at the number of spells Clerics get per level in SoF for example.
We got 5 at level 80. They got 10.
We got 5 at level 79. They got 6.
We got 6 at level 78. They got 7.
We got 5 at level 77, they got 8.
We got 6 at level 76. they got 8.
Unless I miscounted somehow (entirely possible a bit tired) thats 12 more spells than we received this expansion.
There is a total inequity in the the number of spells between casting classes and we got seriously shorted.
Druids have:
7 at level 80.
6 at level 79
8 at level 78
6 at level 77
6 at level 76
Didnt count the rest of the classes, but thats 6 more SoF spells for Druids than Shaman and the Druids are still 6 behind the Clerics.
Again I could have miscounted due to how tired I am if somebody would kindly recheck my numbers I would appreciate it.
Why were a lot of our spells not upgraded when there was clearly room to do so if they wished?
Not only that but the lines we lost did see improvements with other classes as well like poi/dis debuff, cripple, AC etc.
And lines that didnt see improvement could have been improved in other ways if they were maxxed out in one direction as far as they wanted to take them.
Lastly, consolidation of some spell lines could have been done. Like it was preiously when we had too many spell lines if they want to reduce spell numbers.
Frankly I think the issues with spells have gone beyond reasoning with Prathun and it needs to be taken to the next level.
