Ok after you have defeated the waves of minos and get the emote from Breakneck saying he has to go tell Meldrath.. HOW to you work the elevators to get up to him???

do the last wave up stairs in the room(that is do the 3 waves, then move up top to the room next to his, then do 4th in that room), just have people not be standing against wall / on the things up there or minotaurs will pop midway through floor.


elevator works like normal, click the thing in middle to make it go up :P, it will be fine as long as only one person clicks.

pets, familiars, and auras can 1-900-MixALot up the elevators.

We do the first three waves, and then move a mage and camp him in the room we will fight him in.

Then after we kill the fourth wave we afk for 10 min to get cothed.

Using an eye will "force" the elevator to start working. We used to move a mage corpse up to the big room before the fourth wave and CoH the raid up, but to save time we eventually switched to using eyes to make the elevator work. Just make sure that all pets, familiars, and auras are down, as using an eye is still not a 100% guarantee.

But now I'm curious, people keep saying that they do the last wave in the big room next to breakneck. IIRC, there's only one door up there (as the door towards Meldrath's room doesn't open unless everthing in the zone is dead). How do you do the last wave in the big room if that door doesn't trigger? Just leave the raid up there while the door team works below and hopes to god that the elites don't pop on them?

Problem was, unless they changed it, if the door team dies, and Breakneck goes unagro'd for about 15 or 20 seconds, he despawns and the whole event resets. That's why we've never moved the raid up until the fourth wave was dead, so that if the door team died a few rangers could run in and shoot a few arrows to agro him before he reset, something I see as highly unlikely if the raid is on the third floor up the elevator and the door team is on the ground floor near the stables. More power to you if it works for you, just too many "ifs" for me, especially since you have to re-do all four waves if he's left unagro'd on the fourth.

down below you can have 3 people, necro, monk, and any, we use pally as 3rd, the only issue comes up rarely if an add stays below(pretty rare happens "maybe" 1 in 10 times), but monk can do the blur mez on it usually, or pally can DA and it will warp up top, FD'ing em will help too(3 FD'ers), usually they only aggro 1 person below not all 3 tho, necro stays off combat to rez if monk or pally dies, or gets on combat if both die to save it. Out of like 30 breakneck kills doing it this way, I think we've only failed maybe 1 or 2 waves this way, earlier on, before getting the hang of things.

Monk FD's at a door, clicks the door while FD, Breakneck and the adds pop, the adds warp to the raid, backup person with the monk tags Breakneck. This all happens very fast, the adds warp to the raid immediately and Breakneck is never unaggro'd long enough to despawn.

Not a Breakneck question, but looking for clarification on the charm aspect of Krond.

The Cruel Slavers cast we have been using Dispell to get rid of it, but I was wonder if would work just the same? Ive been attempting to use it but have not been able to prove if it removes the charm or not.

It's possible, but Pure Spirit has a noticably lower chance of removing the effect. If a detrimental effect can be removed by normal dispel, it can be removed by Pure Spirit.

Enchanter's "Recant Magic" has four lines of "Cancel Magic (9)". I'm not exactly sure what the (9) is, whether it's a 90% chance of dispelling, or whether all buffs have some form of invisible counter and that this dispel removes 9 of those counters, or whatnot. But (9) is the highest level of dispel, and it will remove just about anything that can be dispelled in one shot.

Pure Spirit is "Remove Detrimental (6)". Again, I don't know if it uses the same system as Dispel, but I generally notice it has somewhere around a 40%-50% chance of removing a detrimental effect.

For comparison, the highest rank of Radiant Cure has "Remove Detrimental (18)" and even that fails to cure Malis on frequent enough occasions.

Pure Spirit is a beneficial spell, and as such cannot be cast with effect on npcs. When charmed, even your character is non-player. Pure Spirit will do nothing to help charmed players.

Also the druid calm spells are listed in our books as detrimental spells but they can be cast without LOS and our beneficial focus effects fire when they are cast. These are also beneficial spells that have an effect on NPCs.
