Ads and sound

Does anyone know if its possible to disable ads that have sound but leave my sound working.Everywhere I go I seem to run into them and not only are they annoying they also seem to be 5 times louder then what I have my sound set at.The only things I've been able to do is mute or turn the sound off.

weave is better then xmarks as it syncs more stuff and is supported by the same people who bring you firefox
