What do you consideer to be good, ethical hunting practices? Don't worry, I'm not with that nameless twit who was proclaiming himself the world's most ethical hunter. But what do you consider to be the right things to do on a hunt? The obvious things are knowing what you're shooting at, hunting only in designated seasons and areas, and using the appropriate tool for the game. What else do you have? Thanks for any useful answers.

Hunting in a sustainable manner - not taking more than you need and/or the population will support.
Making the most of your take - if you don't use it, perhaps your friends and neighbors can.
Hunting with reverence - being truly thankful for the sacrifice (make holy) of the prey. You're not better than another creature just because you're higher on the food chain.

I would say the big thing is not just hunting for sport but to make use of what you get from the hunt either yourself or to give to others.

Hunting? I say find a zone with some light blues or if you have good gear MAYBE Dark blues. Gather up a huge train, run into a corner and hit your Riposte discipline.

I agree with Samanna on this. Unless there is a huge population boom that is threatening the stability of the ecosystem, taking more than you (and those you share/barter with) will eat/use only leads to problems. Besides being "ethical" in your hunting allows for more game to spawn for next season.
