I currently run a hardware firewall without issues; made no adjustments for EQ.... So it's safe to say that it's not the actual firewall portion of the code..
Should be a log file stating why Norton is being a pain... but I'm with Scowls... I hate software firewalls..

I'm rusty on PC tech, but isn't having a wireless router the same thing as having a hardware firewall... the NAT tables pretty much acts as a firewall, correct?
Also, at least one other person in the guild has the same problem. They had just mentioned having to reboot a few times because their Norton wouldn't let them on either, so at least I'm not an isolated case.
