The Spirit Realm

Hi All,

My characters used to live on Vazaelle, which is now merged with Maelin Starpyre. I've not yet logged on to the new server (I haven't played at all for about 6 months), but I hope finally to log on and play a bit some time soon. My question is: what do I need to do to apply all of my old character-specific settings on the new server, i.e. window and chat settings, macros, preferences, etc. I assume I just have to rename files with my characters' names on them. If anyone knows offhand which files I need to look for, or any other details I should know, I'd appreciate the info. Thanks!

Personally, I didn't do it. I used Innoruuk's merge as an opportunity to clean house, so to speak. New UI (based on Aruman's Grand Unified Window Theory), empty friends' list, etc. Was pretty refreshing.

Hmm... cleaning house -- an intriguing idea.
I haven't checked out Aruman's stuff. Perhaps I'll try that first, then rename or edit files selectively if needed. I'm not overly concerned with the windows, but I kinda want to keep most of my hotkeys and socials.

You can do fresh ui stuff; hotkeys and socials are in the ini files.
