I tried to search and found a few posts related but just wanted to get the pally side of opinions before i decide for sure.
Anyways I play with a real life friend who is a monk. We duo ok but wanted to add a little umph since we play at odd times and are sick of idiots ruining our limited play time. The monk is going to box a wizard, ya i know it doesnt help him much but if we always play together it will be fine. That leaves me playing a shaman and ___. After mulling over multiple classes including berserker and warrior, i have narrowed it down to SK or Paladin. I know this is a paladin site so opinions may be biased
SK pulling tools are somewhat if not totally negated by the monks superior pulling. Snare can be handled by the wizard if need be. Which leads be to think paladin would be better because already the SK has lost half his luster. The only question i have is SK dps superior enough on live targets (undead pally rule i know, but i dont want to limit us to only undead content) to choose him over a pally? With only a shaman for heals will SK lifetap and innate aa lifetap procs be enough or would pally stun (no dmg taken if mob is stunned) and pally heals be better for keeping HP up.
Our current plan is to stay in the 65 - 70 range to grind out as many aa as we feel like getting. We are in no rush to max lvl or catch up to a raid guild or anything like that.
Thanks for any opinions on the matter.
