could think about adding a druid/cleric as it could possible turn your shaman into dot DPS. wizard/necro is prolly best as you add the much needed snare (with additional dps.)

Make an *honest* list of the pros you think an Enc will bring to your trio first.

Then, decide on either wiz, nec, mag or dru.

Snare and ports are very useful for boxing, especially 3-boxing. Is this your first boxing attempt?

I went with Shaman, SK, Mage for my trio. It works pretty well. While the mage doesn't have the nuke power of a wizard, he still puts out some descent dps between his nukes and pet. His pet also provides a descent speed bump if I have to run. The items he can summon also make the shaman pet better for damage and yet another speed bump if needed. The mage also helps on splitting mobs at times by using coth while the SK is FD and the mobs are not wanting to forget him when he stands back up. It allows the SK to lose aggro on all the mobs except the dotted one, and once the other mobs start back to their spawn he can stand right up and snag the snared one again.

I've just recently added a ranger to my mix. We'll see how that goes now.
