Any Soloing Advice for a Pimp Shaman?

Yeah, so I had a few days off of work, and the guild took a break from raids for a week or so so for the Holidays. I decided I was finally gonna make that push to 75, but I seemed to hit a big rut about half way through 72.

Can't find a group, when I do find a group it's either becuase I am doing Dain's out of desperation (which this past weekend I got to sit through several Dain runs that wiped because people are too incompetant to realize that the celrics should heal the Dain, not do melee dps.), and then there is the we get into a group, and by the time we find the tank/cleric/puller/and dps needed for Vald, someone says they have to log.

I will literally be in game for 10-12 hours and maybe make less than an orange bubble of xp.

Pretty, frustrated and looking for some good soloing spots.

I don't have many aa's since I quit playing when GoD came out, came back right when PoR came out, and then quit again last May because of computer problems.

I'm tyring to do levels more than aa's since the general consensus is level is better than aa's, and becuase I rarely see lvl 69/70 rues drop unless I'm in a raid, and I rarely see them on sale in bazaar.

Still haven't done and spell missions for DoD or PoR.

So yeah, any advice would be apprciated and well let's talk about some places to farm for loot as it seems gem drops in Seb have been nerfed as well as it seems like the entire zone is taken over by bards and other folks with nice AE spells doing faction trans.

I would recommend either The Steppes and do gnolls or Icefall and do goblins, polarbears, wolves, or orcs.

Decent to good exp and always a shot at rank2 spells.

Goto Icefall. Mammoths & Bears. Put up LFG. While waiting for a group pull singles with a resist debuff spell. Root and Rot. Seriously will be much better XP. And you will get groups.

Oh, goto threntil strongarm in Valdehome and get his quests and while doing bears/mammoths you can do those as well.

Beafly Cakes Quick Start Guide to NEVER BEING LFG AGAIN!

Step 1:
Once you get your level 3 coldain seal, get the hell outta Icewell Keep and never look back. Those missions breed cattle, don't get caught up in the herd.

Step 2:
Stop LFGing and make your own groups. Pick something productive to do, take the initiative and send some invites. You'll be surprised how many people just like yourself are standing around waiting for someone to send them a tell.

Step 3:
Icing on the cake? Here you go... Start Power-leveling up your SK bot and never look back! Then when you are happily executing Step 2 you've already got the tank, puller, healer and slower. Oh wait... YOU ARE THE GROUP! Everyone else is just there to Powerlevel you now.

Soloing should be your absolute last resort, and then it's usually better to go work on your wife faction so you can spend more time 2-boxing. And who knows, you might even get laid once and awhile!

Um...how are you a "pimp shaman" if you don't even have your 69/70 spells that you can BUY in the bazaar :[? Go farm othmir furs for plat (sell for 500pp each easy) and go buy your 69/70 spells. Also, get a group to do Skylance 3. No Ghost of Renewal + Raid shaman = wtf??

Don't waste your time soloing with the spells that you have...only 72 means on Vengeance, no Juju, and as you said, no Curse or Nectar. Your dps is zilch. As far as groups go, most people are just too lazy to make their own. You can get an Icefall group going np. Find 2 necros that are soloing, /invite them. Find a wizzy, /invite. You have a nice aggro kite group that will rock icefall. Don't solo w/o lots of crit dot AAs and all your spells :p.

And since selling potions is a majopr sorce of my income, those spells would find their use.
