Druid makes three......

Ok, I have added a third account to my arsenal of toons. I am currently running Pred, who is just short of 74. I also have Maldorian, my 71 sk, and I have created a druid, now 47 with epic 1.0. I am taking my time building him up, and having some fun with Velious / Kunark quests before I push him higher ( hehe... I am doing the shawl quest for the third time). I have played a druid in the past, and looking over his spell lines I cam across an epiphany. Will druid charm animal line / shaman feralize line work? This was obviously not the reason why I created the druid. I was looking for a 2nd healer / nuker that I could be semi-afk on. The ports / ds / utility did it for me. With the guild lobby, I plan to have 2 clerics in reserved for rez, etc. (already have one). Also, any tips for gear that anyone can give me would be great- it looks like eqdruids is relatively dead atm. Bear in mind all gear will be accomplished primarily from group content, or any raid content I can buy loot rights for.

Ideas I have:

Icefall bracers
PoR cloak, ring, earring
PoR tunic / legs -----> TSS or TBS equivalent later on
69.1 shield ----> Valdeholm shield
Atikki belt
Probably DoD for the rest.....

My brother and i did quite a bit of charming animals for xp to level up. As far as i know feralize still works with charm. We use to do frogs in Postorms. There are other spots, i just don't remember lol.

have a clicky snare. I got one off of Hangnail in KC while camping for my monks epic.

I picked up a Tanglewood shield in the bazaar for about 6k, so I got snare covered. I will look into clicky root items to see what is out there. I also boxed Korucast (sp?) down today- pita fight, but now my druid is sporting his ring....

I realize this is an older topic now, but if you're still reading the forums you might want to try for questions related to that class. It is the most prominent class resource for druids today.
