Where to solo these days?

I'm a 75 shaman that just came back with 1050AAs. I was wondering where a good root/rot spot would be to use while lfg. I've heard LP and Atikii (or how ever you spell that place in TBS). Any other places I should try out?

Ruins of Illsalin is a hot zone, but for level 70s; not sure what your return would be.

Illsalin might be the best exp zone, at 70, if you bring a full group. It is decent solo aa exp at 80; but it is not trivial at that level, because you will commonly pull two or three mobs at a time.

So at 75, solo -- it's probably worth a try, maybe a couple of tries. The exp per kill will be high. The number of kills you get in between trips to the guild lobby to get rezzed: that would be the question.

I did a lot of my leveling from 75 to 80 solo, killing bears and spiders in Icefall Glacier.

A friend did it killing golems in the Crystallos key quest valleys in Dragonscale Hills. They take longer to kill, but the exp per kill is quite high.

Only nameds summon iirc and the rest are pretty much cake.

I soloed griffons near the druid ring in Direwind from 75 to 80. Patience with pathing gets you singles everytime there. Also, bugs, pixies, brownies and minotaurs in DSH come single or in pairs, and they are easy root rots. Get the faction quests and its a bonus xp hit periodically.

DSH Minotaurs is just a good call to get cracking on your brownie rebels faction. ;P
