Rune Agro vs Other Agro proc's

I used a SEWS and Allins Mace. While they do have some aggro to them, they are in now way close to a CS/EB proc.

The enchanter rule of thumb for rune aggro is that runes (Slot 1 runes anyway) seem to generate hate to the tune of twice the damage absorbed value. Note that to the best of my knowledge, no one has ever tested this by parsing, but it's pretty clear that runes generate more aggro than a heal of comparable size.
That means that Rune III is kicking out roughly 460 hate - not laughable, but not the 700 provided by enraging blow. And since Chaotic Stike seems to be in the same ballpark as EB from what I hear, not competitive with that either.
That said, Rune IV should be pretty competitive aggro - but it's much more rare and generally on higher end items than Rune III (Vishimtar staff, Jagged Pureblade from MPG Specialization, and Eulogy, from Demiplane are the only ones listed in Lucy.)

I've done various parses over the past week , and i can say for sure , that rune 3/4 give quite a bit less aggro than cs4 , (dont have a cs3 to test with).
With just meleeing *** No stuns ect , i was able to keep aggro using cs4 from a naked Eulogy Not once in 3 diffrent tests , did the other knight get aggro over me (btw we both have comparable aa's) . I can say without a doubt , that cs4 >rune4 in the aggro department.
