Has a difrent feel to it even the boards on eq live have a difrent buzz ,an im not saying thats a good thing atm.No real info atm on aa's or spells tho theirs a aa list rumor atm but i dont know how much bad form it would be posting it here would be.

Maybe im wrong ( happens everyday ) but 1st we had a expansion designed to draw in new players..that became digital release only then MIGHT be release after christmas with the compliation pack retail .This was crapy news to me im on dial up.Then the new race models look um David Bowish as they have been described on the boards.An offer no beast lord or shaman choice , many wanted drake pets would have been easy to do to.

Intresting note tho if the aa list i seen i right theirs no avoidance or mitigation aa's .From a design stand point that had to stop at some point .But the question i have is When an Why do you buy the expansion.Buying it to get to 75 asap ?Buying it to keep up with raid game? Buying it for new race? An when are you going to buy it.Im sure im in the minority of people who will wait for the compilation.Still this release "feels" odd just wondering if it does to any one else as well.

For the raiding crowd that is Anguish plus (top end or kinda top-end) and raids as their major play form for EQ, we will all be buying it either through pre-order or shortly after release, at the latest. In the raiding game, at least, level > all. The fact that you have to have the expansion to level to 75 means the raiders will be buying it and leveling as quickly as possible. In my guild we've all been preparing for the release for a couple of months, filling up our XP bars, maxing out our 30 AA banked, etc.

The first day of release I expect everyone in my guild to ding level 71. We will change our recruiting requirements shortly after release. We will level to 75 as quickly as possible. For some that will be very fast. For others it may take a couple of months. But we will do it as quickly as we can. By year end, everyone should be level 75. That's the plan.

Of course, that depends on how they have set up XP in the new expansion. If every level is a major he!! level and leveling is much slower than we anticipate, then we will adjust accordingly. But if history is any guide, we will have level 75 players before the end of September.

Checked that out Finori,if had perfect conection an didnt get disconected over 77 hours download.So ya it would be posible not problable considering disconects an server lag due to the massive downloads .New patch server is not due till end of year they said .That one can run in the back ground ,it ramps up when your cpu is not buesy.

Some of the objections to digital download arent just the dial up with some.Some with dsl have posted they will wait for retail compliation as well. sevrial threads on live forums went over this

See for me besides all this in last two years i have become basicaly disabled on oxygen 24/7.So my comp an online games is my entertainment ( network tv in general rots the brain /shudder ) .Tieing up my phone an comp for over 77 hours is kinda hard to do when id just had 20 or less with a retail cd.

Now the reson im saying this expansion has a difrent feel is NOT because of the digital download stuff ( went threw that with LoY ),its not because i didnt pre order ( went threw that with PoR ).Its not a compilation of both either .The way its being handled an information about it is slower seems.I started playing after luclin an this is in scope closer to it posts say .maybe that has something to do with it or im just weird ... or both .
