Instead of starting a new thread, I'll just extend this one (altered the title - hope u don't mind sonof)

I'm attempting to have some dialog with Merloc on the Pally TSS Breastplates (no idea how well it will go). I'd like to get a collective idea of how to fix these glaring issues.

Silver-Scribed Plate Breastplate
Click effect "Ward of the Scribe" duration 1.0 minutes

Mysaphar`s Thoughtbringer Breastplate
Click effect "Ward of Mysaphar" duration 2.0 minutes
Focus effect Dawn's Sunlight: 70% heal focus for Burst of Sunlight rank 3

Description for both clicks: Enshrouds your body with a ward that will sometimes stun and damage attackers when you are struck in melee combat. Req lvl 75 on both.

Here are the issues at hand:

1) Both click effect Stuns are capped at level 55

2) Both click effect Stun durations at 1.0 seconds

3) Both have "and damage" in thier descriptions

4) Clicks do not stack with Ward of Tunare

5) Burst of Sunlight rank 3 does not exist.

My thoughts:

1) lvl cap of 55 is worthless to any one who can obtain either of these BPs. Stun cap for Silver-Scribed would be appropriate at 75. However, Stun cap for Mysaphar's at 75 is remeniscent of Ancient Force of Jeron. This is a Raid level item, and in order to obtain it you have to raid AND group in a zone(s) where 90% of the mobs are 76+. A raid level item that has no effect in said raids is unacceptable. Shooting for lvl 80 stun cap on this.

2) Majority of mob swing delays are 1.0 seconds or higher (especially slowed). 1.0 second stun has zero effect in reducing incoming damage. The only purpose for a 1.0 second stun on this click is if you are running for you life...and I don't believe thats what this click is designed for. Stun duration should be raised anywhere from 3.0 - 4.0 seconds to have any real effect...obviously the higher the better.

3) The click effects produce no damage. Either add in a damage component to the stuns, or remove these 2 words from the description.

4) If the clicks can be made into something alot more useful, I don't see this as an issue.

5) Hybrids get 8 rank III spells, BoS is not one of them, rendering the focus effect useless. Several Options here, but realistically, unless they totally botch this up, any change would work.
a) Change to Mana preservation for Wave of Forgiveness rank 3 (preferred by me)
b) Remove Gleaming Light rank 3 -OR- Sacred Touch rank 3 to replace with BoS rank 3 - Focus remains the same
c) Remove Gleaming Light rank 3 -OR- Sacred Touch rank 3 to replace with BoS rank 3 - Focus changed to mana pres.


agree? disagrree? other ideas?

they probably wont give us something we can't already cast. (even though click ds would rock)

i know there's a click group heal out there on vish shoulders.

so there's been click cures, click heals, has there been a click stun? i think there has, not infinate click though.
see all these tss bp's seem to have 10 min recast timers, am i right?
they're all long anyway.
so whatever we get if we change it will have a long recast timer.
so a regular stun with a long recast timer, to me, is kinda meh.
but a super strong stun with a 10 min reuse, that'd be kinda nice.
what's our current hate on a stun max, 1600ish?
what if there was a short casting high aggro stun with a 10min recast

IMO a stun on a click should have aggro because thats what i'd use it rather than actually trying to stun a mob.
anyone who plays top end content knows most stuns wont connect, but we still cast 'em, because they're great aggro

Super agro 4.0 second non-capped stun would be kewl
