The Spirit Realm

Within the last few weeks and as recently as August 1st, I have noticed an occasional disparity between the damage shown for slays and the amount listed for the weapon swing. Here's an example:


It's not just happening to me, I've seen it happen to a friend of mine as well. We both have our 2.0 epic and were using it when this happened. In each case, we were fighting in the Boneyard camp in Direwind Cliffs. It only seems to happen on max or near max slays. Any idea why this is happening?

For reference sake, here are all the buffs I had going on me when I took that screen shot. The small ones at the top are short duration.

I personally don't play a paladin with slay, so I dont know if this effects it but looking at Champion's effect it adds a 10% skill damage modifier which using your example

17240 x 1.10 = 18964 exactly, so I believe this is was effects your slays.

It's because burial rites proc'd when you casted it. If it procs your attacks deal more damage the disparity you are showing on that screenshot is about the difference I get everytime Burial Rites Successfully procs.
