There are a bunch of posts on places to solo, duo ect. A lot will depend on your setup. Basically to solo as a pally you want max slay aa's and 2.0 or similar high damage weapon. You can still do it with lesser but the effecincy is reduced. You have a shaman bot, so that should help compensate for lack of gear and AC.

I woud suggest the boneyard in Direwind, or the regular Accursed Nest (not an instance). I do both regularly botting my gf's warrior. They are good for a 4aa+ 30 minute lesson.

What is the softcap for AC?
/shrug Who cares, get as much as possible. All I can tell you is the more AC I get the better it seems. I could tell the difference between 3200ac and 3500ac+ so why not get more.

Supposedly there are some undead in Katta. That said, Your 3-box setup is meant for survivial, not grinding experience. I'd consider swapping the druid for a DPS class or you need to invite a DPS class or two to your grinding fun to speed up the kills.

As for the AC softcaps, it doesn't matter. Anyone using any modern gear is over the softcap. It's a safe bet to assume the softcaps for all classes are somewehre between 400 and 1000 AC. The developers coded it a way so we won't be able to pinpoint exactly where the softcap is for any class. Trust me, at 2.4k ac, your over the softcap. Get as much AC as you can, and make sure you have a nice high AC shield with an AC aug.

It has been said that it takes 4 AC over the softcap to make the same improvment as 1 AC under the softcap. I think that is fairly accepted widespread. It is also accepted that shield AC is not modified by the AC cap.

So when you are figuring your AC if you have a 40AC shield and displayed AC of 2400 then your effective AC is 2520. Same situation with a 120AC shield and your effective AC is 2760. A 240AC effective AC difference for 80 difference AC shield. (80*3 = 240, go figure)

Another plus for RSS is the AC augs from there. So you should stay at least until you are full of Flameshield Stones.

Undead in the Nest are pretty easy, and the boneyard in Direwind should be doable as Kneesmasher said. Be careful in Direwind as it is easy to get three at a time there. Will need to do some CC in that case.

Get your Paladin to 75 and some AC help and you should be able to 3-box some of hte easier Katta missions like Coral Diving or Hide and Seek (Knowledge for Power).

My pally bot is in a similar spot (500 less hp and 100 more ac though)

Pyrilen Rifseeker try 1: he charmed my pally, and tore through my shaman... My necro feigned, For the next 12 or 13 minutes everytime charm broke the riftseeker would charm again. Is the charm curable with Pure Spirit? Or should I pull with Sanctification?

Also Id look at dropping the druid for a necro, or adding a necro as bot 4 (I just added a druid as my 4th for the last 2 years i botted pally/shammy/necro, my shammy/necro are anguish gearedish, my pally is, well crappily geared)

Apparently Tena can help you negate charm with some mobs. I am pretty sure same goes here. I cant remember being charmed while having tena, though I did get charmed with only selfbuffs

Purely coincidental I think. Tena doesn't have anything on it that would block charm. Getting your resists up will help, bard for PoV rocks.
