i wont even put it on the feedback list. How does it hurt us or anybody else if war's can do alot of damage in 1 turn. It only makes our lives easier. Thats 4 minutes it took to kill 1 mob instead of 4:30. YAY, move on faster, more loots, less healing. Think about how war's opportunistic strike upgrades YOU and the rest of your raid before you get all jumpy swinging the nerf bat at them.

im in competition with the warriors for tank slots. im probably going to play my paladin on combine more since theres no sof there yet.

So by your logic, you agree with Slay Undead being nerfed.

"I'm in competition" is a bs argument. At that rate, our stuns could also be nerfed more than they currently are as well due to Warriors and SKs being "in competition" with us on Dark Blue/White con mobs.

Exactly my point. just leave war disk's alone. Personally im tired of hearing from most of the war asshats like Battleblade and Frodlin whining constantly that their class isnt the king of the world. We say that something is imbalanced and WE get nerfed. Its about time we learn from our mistakes. Dont stir up trouble with everybody else. Worry about the Paladin Class. Stuff like Ward/Sustenance making them actually worthwile. Getting us AE agro like AE stun. Slay Undead aint being nerfed and i wouldnt expect it to ever be touched simply because if they nerf slay undead theyd have to give us a Realistic offensive disc and that just wont happen. Or Hell, how about some Creativity to our spells when expansions launch. Personally im tired of the symbol buffs that we NEVER use. Id like a group Aego line, like Group Oathbound Protector woulda been sweet. Whoever convinced devs on Mark of the Saint, i take my hat off to you. Challenge/Trial for Honor, same thing...them are $$$. These are the things that pallys should concentrate on, not (War's can hit hard, or a ranger outhealed me, or just the simple fact that our dev's suck donkey balls. Be Productive. Not Detrimental.

just to beat a dead horse why would it be so game breaking for the paladins to get a high cost longish recast aoe stun? i can only think of a few encounters that it would be helpful for example the other day we were one grouping to grummie for kicks and giggles. after the spider queen dies and the adds spawn i would have sold my pally soul to inny for a way to aoe them onto me instead i had run around like an idiot root parking since we didnt have a wizard to aoe them down.

here is the ONLY logical reason i can think of that sony is avoiding giving us ae agro. And that is Slay Undead. Simply put. have a group of cleric and shammy. find an undead group, pull urself a train, then AE Taunt it to agro lock, and just riposte slay and regular slay to hell. AE taunt agro locking being the kicker (normally for us being group heals), but ae stun would be more mana preficient.

They don't give us AE aggro because they have decided that AE aggro is a major class advantage for shadowknights. We have a better chance of getting a warrior style AE taunt (something with a longish recast) than we do getting Sk style chain castable ae aggro. And honestly, they're right. If paladins had ae aggro, what possible reason would any raid have for using an SK at all? Pulling? They barely do more dps than us against live mobs, even burning everything, because for knights the vast majority of our dps comes from regular melee. They can't group cure, group heal, single target heal others, and their self heal is extremely weak in any content that matters (i.e. non-trivial). They basically get, feign, ae aggro, stat taps, and "evil persona" as what defines them as a class. Not much there relative to what paladins get.

Its just unfortunate that SOE has made kiting many adds such an integral part of raid scripts in recent years that if you don't need a paladin curing/healing, you're better off with an SK in a raid force. But that could change at any time, maybe not likely, but definitely possible.

i disagree w/ u Abazz on sk's and their dps. Where we have Support spells (group heals, cures, etc), they have Offensive spells like necroes (lifetaps, dot's, etc.) not to mention a pet, Swarm pets. Most of the time you dont see necroes on parses cuz most parses still suck to calculate DoT damage (same with sk's). You put an sk and a paladin on a raid fight, same group makeup for both, and they both go full offensive. That sk should dominate the dps.

To me, it seems that you severly Underestimate sk's.

Comment on the AE aggro thing. I think the best that we could hope for would be a short range AE stun clicky on a class BP. With a suitible recast timer it would be useful and not overpowering.
