Also got to keep in mind, the submitted data is likely only from 1 person's or 1 group's experience with a mob. Maybe their tank had extremely high ac and the named never connected with its full damage potential. I also agree with the above post, its a given that if your tanking there, your going to have max shielding (and maybe vie) up when you tank these guys so the max hits are more of an estimate then actual.
On a side note, there are some named mobs in there that will hit for nearly 7k so be ready for them, at least before the shielding, AAs, vie are factored in.

Yup. More hp for spikes. More AC will make a real difference. They might have better Parry/Dodge mods than you. Access to more toys/clickies/better spells, but that is all minor stuff. More dps to kill things down faster. It all adds up, especially if their friends have corresponding advantages over your friends.

It seems to me that no matter how strong we get at lvl 80, theres no guaranteed way to say we as knights are gonna be able to tank these named. Basically its just a stroke of luck (1 group only).
