However, I'm not sure if this will have any impact on this question. Basically, they're making AA exp scale according to the number of AAs you have (i.e. if you have 0-200 AAs for instance, you'd get 10x as much AA exp as someone with 2000+ AAs. Not real numbers, just giving a for instance).

The only impact it would have at present is that it isn't in effect yet. If they're going to make AAs easier to get but leave regular exp alone, do regular now and AA later when it takes less effort. Otherwise - well no; I'd still say go regular now and AA later =p.
Then again I'm probably one of the few paladins who had all his slay AAs done before finishing off the first few rounds of even defensives...

When leveling up, there's absolutely no reason to do it in SoF. There are much easier and faster places to XP than SoF, unless you are already in hoss gear or have a regular and well played hoss group to XP with.
Valdeholm, Direwind, FC, AG, pirates in TSB, etc. will all be descent XP at least to 79. It's not XP per kill that matters. It's XP over time, that matters. Fight easier mobs that give less XP but kill more of them over time. That's the winning combination for leveling...unless you have the gear and the group to go to SoF.

Ok Im back, now at level 77 and unbuffed at 13743 hp and 2606 ac The gear will keep coming as I participate in alot of raids. looks like the aa patch is coming out on the 16th, March so I will continue to raid and level untill then. I will not brake the level 78 barrier by then so i I should get pretty good aa at 77-78 in the hotzone. I am having a hard time trying to figure what augs, Epic, DoN faction etc to work on. I have too many things on the list. Please give me a link of augs to gather and is my epic really worth the trouble these days, I look at magelo profiles of the top pally's on our server and none are equiping it. The info I have recieved so far has been very valuable so please keep it coming.
