ive been talking with Elidroth more about this whole dps fiasco, among other things, explaining to him about our..Disgruntledness. His response was: "I wish I had a better answer for you, but right now I just don't. I'm neck deep in some time sensitive content that HAS to be ready for QA in the next 2 weeks, but I'm hopeful (and I've asked Rytan) for some time to look into Pally DPS among other things shortly thereafter."
So i asked him: "you know how resourceful we can be, how we can organize and create. What can we do to help this situation out?"

How's that for homework?
So, we have a homework assignment Paladins. And for me to keep this going successfully, i dont wanna see any nit picky whiney ass bulls*it. Think of this VERY similar, to how we requested stuff in beta. Post ur stuff (edit ur posts if u see some info u like better), but keep it professional. The 3 items requested are NOT teh same thing, so copy/paste answers for 3 things wont work. Put some serious thought into this guys. As ive said many times in game, Expansion released, next month or 2 is fixing bugs and crap from it, then march/April should be our time. Well, March is next month. First 2 weeks of february we wont get, and expect something else in final 2 not us, but March CAN BE our time. Get together among each other, discuss, organize, be creative. and provide AS MUCH INDETAILED information as you can...ill organize the final consensus and send it back up in a few days.

Top 5 bugs you think need fixing.
1) Stacking issues of Warriors Field Armorer's and our Armor of Inquisitor.
2) Stacking issues with Twinheal and Chanter Twincast Aura
3) Target/Landing issues with Splash of Sanct. unable to cast very well on hills, steps, etc.
4) HoT Spells weaker than HoT Pot's. spells always overwrote by any class who uses a hot, or if hot pot is in effect, hot spell wont land due to stronger hot in effect.
5) Armor of Inquisitor is self only 202 AC @ rk 9 buff with 10 min recast. Very low. Add 3 ranks and scale upward to match the hard hitting of UF.
6) Splash curing Tash on Enchanter Charm Pets. Charm pets are NPC's which shouldnt be curable by us.
Top 5 things that may not be bugs, but you think need attention.
1) Melee dps scaled (returns like Shield specialist is good, could use on flurry too), Spell dps scaled too. Stagnated due to Undead, yet there are very little undead.
2) Scale agro of our detriments to reflect the increase of dps/agro generating abilities from UF from dps classes (balance us back out), Resist rate on Beacon too high, should be unresistable. Force of Disruption 3 being 4k agro would be nice here.
3) Paladin abilities are scaled with other hybrids %wise, yet we dont get the same returns they do. Second spire is a good example.
4) Knight self only buffs are set way out of line. Pally Fury line is very worthless compared to SK stuff. A proposal at the end:
5) Sanctification retuned to incorporate ALL new detrimentals too. It should be complete immunity to all detrimental buffs for duration.
6) 2nd effect to brells to make more desirable. the select few hp's difference from ranger buff makes it weak when someone can gain hp and attack.
7) Blessing of life scaled WAY too low, scale upward to compare with Sk's Touch of the Cursed.
8) Retune Protective Confession, its too weak.
9) Shield others AA, allow us to protect others since we are the defensive knight, the protector knight.
10) With the introduction of Splash, really only 3 heals we use now is Burst, Splash, and Aurora. the other 2 single target lines need brought up. The % gap now btwn us and clerics doesnt make them worthwile anymore. Close the gap a little bit.
11) Casting range of Projection of Piety increased

1) Offtanking on large raid mobs: Knights are still kind of falling behind rangers due to the ranger proc ability that lets them proc weaponshield.
2) Higher % rezzing, no reason a dps class can pop a merc and get better rezzes than us.
3) Splash gave us a more active role in raids, more active stuff would be greatly appreciated. Short term offensive disc's, defend others, etc.
4) AA that allows a ToTT for Burst so we can burst the MT without /assist, heal, /assist again. Similar code to the lay hands Gift of Life aa, but for burst spells.
5) More AE Abilities like Splash.
6) Pacification returned to us. In some way shape or form. If we cant have it back to be able to pacify 85's, maybe make an undead paci, just something to allow us single target pulling...
7) Add a stun proc to Blessing of Life similar to code in Symbol of the Planemasters
8) Hastened Holyforge: if this is to be our only offensive disc and its crappy as is, but if its to be, 72 min recast is rediculous. Shorten it ALOT for its miniscule returns.
9) More group beneficial spells and ability, such as group HoT, MGB type activated aa make HoP ae heal etc.
10) Add a killshot AA catering for when we solo to increase dps, a lot of us do a lot of solo lesson burn and grind, this just to mix things up a little and make it more fun.
Proposal: What if instead of 1 buffline here to choose from: Fury line, it was split up into different ones, BUT a paladin could only keep 1 on at a time:
1) Beneficial Fury: Boosts all outgoing heals by XX% (stacks w/ all), and/or Spell haste on ALL spells by XX%, and/or, all single target heals have a chance of becoming group heals with the same amount healed on Single target, (may possibilities here)
2) DPS Fury: Does a larger DD proc
3) Tanking Fury: Procs a 3 sec deflection when it procs
4) Spellcasting Fury: All DD spells when casted have a XX% Boost (stacks with all)
This would add at least 4 more spells to our spellbook, giving us variety and allowing us to be more versatile.

1) Paladins need burn ability and a few new offensive abilitys, such as nuke or combat ability like withstand but offensive. 2nd spire adds almost no dps at all. Really needs retuning.
2) With new underfoot abilities/poisons/etc aggro is a total struggle of spaming 4 hate spells. Need to up hate on stuns to balance out new contents hate generation
3) Resist rate of Beacon of Righteousness is way too high and instant hate isn't enough.
4) Brells needs something added to it. Currently the HP difference from the ranger/bst buff is not even noticable anymore and theres has increased atk rating. Brells ether needs a bigger HP add or needs Endurance regen or ac or DS or something added to make it more of an option again.

I personally have given up on Devs even Ngreth has become lack luster at best, I wish they would simply come out and say publicly they are winding down EQ and dont keep blowing smoke up people's asses.
Crush was unforvgivable why was it removed in the first place just shows they are incompitent, hell if I was to screw up my job as much as they did I would be Court Martialled at best and in Prison at worst.

I disagree with many things posted on these forums over the past few months, particularly the whining about how "useless" paladins have become. If you think we are useless, perhaps you simply don't have the proper AA's, or don't know how to play your pally. We are still one of the most powerful classes out there, in terms of balance and well-roundedness, and I believe the devs know and understand this while most players do not.
Our best tool is healing, and if you disagree you need to reconsider. Pally heals (especially burst) are scaled well, and with proper AA's, foci, and twincast, burst will almost always heal your target to full health...and with 0.25 cast time we can keep warriors up on mobs such as Fippy, Beast, etc. very well by filling in the gaps.
Healing is also our greatest boon for tanking and agro. Beacon was a great addition if only due to its ability to get on the agro list of every mob in an area. Cast this, and then heal whoever is being hit (yourself or anyone else taking damage) and the heal agro will act as AE hate, giving you more agro than any SK could dream of building. Follow this up with epic click or AoI, and then (if taking heavy damage already, use LoH) keep healing yourself, and your AE agro will keep going up. Paladins have always had the best AE agro, you just have to know how to use it. This doubles for tanking...our ability to heal ourselves coupled with twincast heal, epic click, AoI, and / or first spire (any pallies who use 2nd or 3rd spire should be shot) allow us to keep ourselves up wonderfully, especially when other healers are healing you as well. I've tanked Fippy from 80-60 without dieing with only 5-6 clerics, holding agro easily by filling in healing gaps with twincast burst.
And now to contribute to this thread (sorry for the partial derail, just some things that needed to be said)...
1. Crush of Compunction lackluster agro...wholeheartedly agree. Force of disruption + twincast + 2 stuns is still more than enough agro to pull mobs off warriors, but more agro is always better
Another cool thing...projection of piety can even outagro HT...yes other tank classes got it as well, but the idea is to work as a team, not be better than all the other tank classes (even though we are)
2. DPS situation...please for the love of all things do NOT give us swarm pets. Swarm pets are abysmal DPS, have stupid amount of push, and are possibly the most overrated dps ability in EQ. Second spire revamp...eh, maybe, but as I said first spire is so useful that it should always be ready for a tanking situation. We are tanks...not a DPS class. Sure other tanks can DPS, but they can't hold a candle to our ability to heal ourselves, our groups, or an entire raid (love splash so much). Perhaps a revamp to holyforge...shorter reuse (and probably duration...5 mins is too long for a DPS disc anyways), increased chance for crippling blows, perhaps a damage modifier would be nice. Something we can use once every 30 minutes to increase our dps from the 2-2.5k DPS mark to around 4-5k mark for 30 seconds - 1 min...nothing ground shattering / balance breaking, just something to allow us to give a little extra every once in a awhile.
3. Rest of the stuff..doesn't really matter. We are already a dominant force in the raid game, and our stuns still make us the best choice for tanking in pretty much all of the new zones. Brells Temple is the only zone with a majority of mobs that are immune to stun, but just switch gears to healing yourself between agro casts (yes...Light healing spells...with twincast they aren't so useless....with epic click, etc. they are actually quite nice).
That's all I have to say...and to those who disagree, please try out my suggestions first. Pallies are a complex class with tons of ability, you simply need to pay attention and figure it all out. A properly played pally requires a great deal of concentration, and is probably one of the hardest classes to play.

1. We need a way to increase our burn dps. Personally I'd like to see a new disc, 5 minutes timer, long recast delay. Something we can hit when dps is called for. Leave base dps alone - we are defensive tanks and don't need to compete with SKs on live content.
2. Our Blessing of Life AA is way too low and does not scale to current content. Double the heal amounts.
3. We need an upgrade to Undead dps. Slays haven't been upgraded since TSS, and newer expansions have less than 5% undead content. If not Slay Undead, we need more powerful undead DDs or procs. How about an upgrade to our undead weapons proc (Nife) - when was the last time that spell saw an upgrade? When SKs and Warriors out-parse us on undead content, you know we need an upgrade.
4. Our AA AE aggro ability needs its resists retuned.
5. I'd love to see our pacify line upgraded, but I realize that's a long shot.

1. I'd like an AA that gives us a hot-keyable Burst heal that lands on the target's target. This would avoid having to switch targets, heal, and switch back, with the potential of healing the wrong target and having all spell gems greyed out for five seconds.

4)Splash of Sanctification has some line of sight issues that should be fixed, if you can get the pointer to an area you should be able to cast the spell, currently you can't cast it past an ant hill because of line of sight issues. The bones in mindblight area in tower are a good example as well as the steps but basically anywhere, where the ground is sharply uneven its hard to get the spell to cast with any regularity w/o having to spend extra time to make sure the indicator is green which often we don't have that kind of time to waste.

1)Blessing of life retuned - heal amount needs to be increased greatly. We are far behind sk's on proc heal power now and theirs even adds to their dps, we need I've no issues with sk being more dps then us but we shouldn't be behind them on innate self healing.
2)Protective Confession needs a big retune to make it worth meming
3)Increase hate on stuns / fod / crush of conpunction / Charge for Honor - We shouldnt have to chain cast all of the above to hold aggro and still lose it to necros and beastlords and rogues and such. Having Crush buged on us for the last couple weeks has really made it apparent how poor our aggro really is with peoples dps being as high as it is compared to us.
4)Our Heal over time spells remain worse then every other classes as well as potion heal over times and the casting time is too long for us to use them in combat, lets get these retuned. Tott and 0.5 sec casting time would be nice upgrades as well as increasing effectiveness.
5)Splash of Sanctification grays out Wave of Remitment. Seriously, if were in need of casting an ae cure, we more then likely need to cast a group heal as well. these spells are really nothing alike so why the link? If splash has to be linked to something how about linking it to something we don't use every raid event.

1)Like Kyntul said above, many of our abilities scale the same as other classes who get a much bigger benefit out of smaller increases. These kind of things such as our 2nd spire or even things like flurry need to be scaled for the class so that each class gets a similar increase in outcome from the upgrades.
2)Heal power needs to scale a bit better, I don't think we should be REQUIRED to wait on twinheal nuke to be ready so we can cast a heal that can heal more then a bug bite.
3)would like to see the Brells upgrade we had talked about, possibly combining it with our aura effect or something so that its more then just a few extra hp, at the very least it should be alot more hp then it is to outweigh the benefits of added dps from ranger buff.
4)Id like to see the difference between RK1, RK2, and RK3 spells being worth trying to get the better versions, especially the difference between RK2 and RK3.
5)Please, please, PLEASE get someone to fix filters and make it so dots/ranged dps spam centers around the mobs we are killing and not the casters/rangers. We need a way to filter dot damage to another window, a way to split our dd's from everyone elses, a way to split our crits from everyone elses, a way to split our dots from everyone else's. This way we can parse on raid mobs w/o getting spammed all to hell and see what we are doing for nukes/crits. ATM I am the one who parses mobs for my raid and because filters are so messed up I'm forced to send all of my nukes to my closed spam box because I cant separate them from other peoples. These things should have been fixed years ago, please go smack the crap outa whoever it is thats in charge of fixing these things Eidroth, I'm sick of /feedback'ing these this and getting ignored.
*** Not sure if this is a "bug" but I don't consider it "working as intended" so putting it as a bug until i hear otherwise. Twinheal overwrites chanter twincast aura, one is a dd twincast and one is a heal twincast. would it be possible to have these 2 buffs stack so that we can have both instead of 1 or the other? it's a pita having to buffblock twinheal so i can have chanter auras running when I'm dps then have to remember to unblock it for the next event because I'm going to have to heal. I don't think it was really designed so that we would have to buff block the recourse if we wanted to use the spell for dps, I think the spell was supposed to be for dps with a useful recourse if we needed it, thus, it should really stack with chanter twincast auras if they cant figure out a way to make aura refresh itself as soon as the buff that overwrote it fades, it kills our melee dps if we have to run oor of our chanter every time twinheal fades just to get the twincast aura back.

1. Add significant heal mod to Brells line to bring that buff to useful status again
2. Give us Shielding AA (protect another group member by taking X% incoming melee [shield equip required])
3. NEW AA IDEA (ok so shoot me) --> Add AA [Blade of Divine Sacrifice?, Holy Rage?] (2 min effect, 60 min recast, 2H only?) where DPS is increased by 25pct (50pct to undead) and every swing heals the target's target significantly and group to a lesser extent but the same amount healed is taken from the Paladin (to avoid using it as a tanking AA). The longer it is active the more powerful it becomes (DPS, healing, and damage to the Paladin) and it can be cancelled at any time. If the effect is not cancelled and the Paladin dies from the effect, a LH hits the target's target. This is along the lines of the old, worthless "sacrifice" AA (the name fails me) but adds both burst DPS, utility to raids for the Paladin, and fits the class.
4. Not paladin related: I agree about the Guild Hall to the bazaar; it can be a cheap guild portal stone.

1) Paladin live DPS, c'mon we seriously need our dps increased, need to increase our base dps so it up there with the sk's and not way below the warriors where we are now, and DO NOT take away and/or decrease our aggro abilities to allow this, we are a tank class and should be able to deal as much damage as the other 2 classes without loosing our aggro tools
2) Paladin undead DPS, when other melee classes can outdps us on undead content means we need this increased plz

- Hate override on crush.
- Bugs with free target spells due to LoS problems or having a target and it chain failing (I have had this happend some times but has been unable to replay it reliably, if I can get more info about this I will post).
Top 5 things that need attention:
- DPS, our current live and undead dps is in clear need of a revamp sustained and burn. Don't think this is the thread to discuss how to do it.
- Passive healing abilities needing some love to be on par with SK ones.
- HoT need to be upgrade at least to surpass potions.
- Resist rate on our ae agro ability it is way way to high, on raids it is almost impossible to hold (the unborrowing come to my mind).
- Unlink group heal from splash. I supose it is a design restriction, but I would like this to be discussed.
Top 5 things you like to see moving forward (that doesn't fall into the previous 2 categories).
- Upgrade group LoH. It is a very nice AA, but I would love to see it get a HoT to the group like our LoH have now.
- Upgrade brells line. Adding a heal mod, an innate reverse DS, etc.
- Increase agro on our stuns. We are returning to the need of chain cast our stuns to retain agro from heavy dps groups. This is prolly worse now with the crush line buged but what worry me is if that dps changes come in form of spells that our agro generation it is not enough.
- Retune our "slow" heals lines, useless in his current form, no deserve meming except for crazy experiments.
- New spell and AA lines. Splash and Aurora are clear examples that not all is already done on EQ. I would love to see new lines like this ones that insert new functions to our class. Examples that I can think: Unique debuff versus undeads, new kinds of active DS, etc.

Need Attention:
1. DPS (we have beat the “why” on this matter to death). Both the base dps and undead need to be scaled up. Holyforge is worthless. Short duration burn discs would be effective.
2. Healing need to be scaled upward significantly. With everyone in 900-1200hp gear now our heals need a serious overhaul. The only combination that does anything substantial is burst + vindication, and maybe burst + remitment/splash but those two are on the same timer. Other single target heals are worthless for their cast times/mana cost/HP actually healed. Our AA proc self heals are weak.
3. Single and AE agro could use a boost. With our DPS much lower than the other two classes of tanks, agro control can be very difficult. Our DPS is nowhere near SKs and warriors so we lose the benefit of agro generated from more swings that warriors get with two weapons. With FoD, stuns, and taunt it’s still difficult to keep agro during raids. In terms of AE agro, I am very thankful for Beacon, but with a 10 minute recast and an unreasonable resist rate on the initial hit, it makes it very difficult to rely on Beacon as a consistent agro tool during raids.
4. Utilities. I would love to see some of our useful utilities restored and some new ones added. For example, I don’t think asking for pacify back is a long shot. We had it until 55 then we lost it due to “overpowering” issues. However, I think we could get it back if we agreed to a weaker form that clerics’ and enchanters’. For example, make our pacify have a casting time of 1.5 or 2.0 seconds, make it only last 12 seconds and have a recast time of 8-10 seconds. This way, the number of mobs we could pacify at one time would be one, maybe two tops. So, we would be able to split pairs of mobs, but still couldn’t single pull a mob from a large group. Having the capability to split pairs of mobs would go a long way for us in the utility department. Additionally, I would like to see some utilities that would increase the desirability to have paladins on raids. A few that come to mind:
-- "High Morale": AA MGB Fear Immunity, 1 minute duration
-- "Oath of Protection": Shielding AA to allow us take a percentage of damage in order to protect a player who’s getting attacked
-- "Holy Intervention": Self only DI, 15 minute recast,requires two emeralds to cast
--"Inquisition": Single target AA, 3 ranks, increase incoming melee damage by 3/5/7%. Does not stack with Funeral Dirge. 72 minute recast
-- "Divine Hands": Automatically casts Lay Hands on self (if it’s available) upon death. I think I would pay 25 AA for something like this, maybe more.
-- "Gift of Resurrection II": 94% resurrection
-- Pegasus Mount
-- "Crusader’s Guard": Group Divine Aura, 10 second duration
5. Disciplines. We know offensive discs have not been paid attention to in a while, and even defensive discs are lackluster. I’m glad Honorific Mantle is over 3x more effective than previous vie disc in terms of total damage mitigated. But what about a defensive disc like warriors have except much less powerful?
a. Maybe something like:
1. Increase melee mitigation by 25%
2. Decrease all skills damage modifier by 65%
3. 1 minute duration
Moving Forward:
1. Basically I would like to see the paladin class move in a direction that makes it a valuable asset to the group and especially the raid again.
2. Not sure who came up with the idea but I love the idea of adding something to Brell's. The argument is completely legitimate. Consider that Strength of the Tracker is 150atk and 353hp, and Brell's is 938HP. I think most raiders in DPS centric content are going to take 150attack over 585hp, except maybe the tanks.

Will update more to finish my list as I think of things. Again these are all just ideas, I realize some are ok and some will get torn apart on the boards, but they’re just some ideas of where I’d like to see the paladin class go.

3. Not sure its really a bug we get group perfected Invis to undead is in archtype abilities but have a self invis in class abilities (wouldnt these both be in class abilities) yah I know its not a big deal
Needs Attention
1 Dps is just in a sad state of afairs right now and this needs to be the number one thing addressed.
2 I think the healing needs to be scaled upward a little bit in scale with the content ( uf stuff hits damn hard)
3 I would like to see defelection duration increased a little bit too maybe another minute
4 we should be able to outheal potions

I would like to see sanctification increased substantially so we could use it as a tanking tool for raid mobs with their insane spell ae
Maybe a fading memories tool for pulling udead ( sk get fd )
95 percent rez aa
might be cool to have a specific weapon specialization aa, more dps with 2hnd blunt, one hand slash
auto bash , we mash enough keys already (mourn wrist)

- Field Armorr is a group buff that grants 252 AC (rk2), 24 sec duration, 24 sec recast, so its able to be up at all times.
- Armor of the Inquisitor is a self-only AA buff that grants 202 AC (rk9) with a heal mod, and is 10 minute recast.
- Thats a bit out of balance there, considering the target type and recast.
- Solution - 3 more ranks of AotI (preferrably before April) with more appropriate heightened AC values to scale with current content (also so its not blocked/overwritten by Field Armorer). Rk10 = 300 AC, Rk11 = 400 AC, Rk12 = 500 AC.
- Resists are so bad on this it rarely works as advertised, and with a 10 minute recast its a very poor AA atm.
- We understand that AE agro is the realm of SK and War, and that our version must be inferior, but it should at least perform properly given said 10 minute recast.
- Both SK and War AE agro is unresistable. "Unresistable" --> "resisted all the time" is a humongus gap, and there is plenty of room inbetween there to adjust a resist rate of -200 magic.
- Touch of the Cursed innate proc nets SKs roughly a 4000 Lifetap (thats 4000 damage + 4000 heal) on average...(and thats before DD crits, heal Crits, or both)
- A large portion of that 4000 lifetap (700'ish) is from Spell Damage worn mod, due to Touch of the Cursed having an arbitrary 45 second recast.
- Healing Light innate proc nets paladins a roughly 823 heal before crits.
- Solution - set recast SPDAT on Blessing of Life to 45 seconds so the heal amount scales with worn mods. Increase ranks 7,8,9 to something more appropriate...120 per rank.
1. Burst DPS....or complete lack there of: Something to provide us with a nice spike in DPS when needed.
2. Add 0.5 Stun proc to Blessing of Light: Each rank can increase stun cap (81, 83, 85). Would like to proc Healing Light ala Symbol of the Planesmaster.
3. Gift of Resurrection 2: 96% Rezz
4. Force of Disruption 3: 4000 hate as per pattern. Agro control/maintenance is getting tedious and annoying, need a bit more oomph here.
5. Hastened Holyforge: 72 minute recast is too long, so knocking down recast to 36 minutes would be nice.

Top 5 things that need attention:
1. Sustained DPS on live mobs, also dps burn on all option.
2. Passive healing abilities need a lot of improvements, add a line similar to consumption of soul that boost healing percentage of proc heals, also add a spell buffed heal proc line, alternatively add a heal recourse to devoted fury. 45 second recast timer on blessing of life while we at it.
3. Bigger HoT, I almost never use it anymore at current form, I don't mind costing more mana as long as it heals substantially more.
4. Bigger direct heals, current ones are really weak compare to amount of hps a player got.
Top 5 things you like to see moving forward (that doesn't fall into the previous 2 categories).
1. More group beneficial spells and ability, such as group HoT, MGB type activated aa make HoP ae heal etc.
2. More useful disc either defensive or offensive in natural with some type of trade off, so we actually make a choice when playing.
3. Move more spells into AA form, such as healing aura, silent piety that was never replaced since level 70.
4. Add a killshot AA catering for when we solo to increase dps, a lot of us do a lot of solo lesson burn and grind, this just to mix things up a little and make it more fun.

Top 5 things that may not be bugs, but you think need attention.
1) HoT Spells weaker than HoT Potions. Spells always overwritten by any class who uses a HoT, or if HoT potion is in effect, HoT spell wont land due to stronger HoT in effect.
2) Cast times are a bit long on a lot of our heals shorten them a bit to be more useful.
3) Blessing of life scaled WAY too low, scale upward to compare with Sk's Touch of the Cursed.
4) Knight self only buffs are set way out of line. Paladin Furry line is very worthless compared to SK stuff.
5) Protective Confession, it's too weak.
Top 5 things you like to see moving forward
1) Higher % rezzing, no reason any class can pop a merc and get a better rez than us. If not give our res a reduced rez effects sickness to make it more desirable than a merc rez.
2)Heal power needs to scale a bit better, I don't think we should be REQUIRED to wait on twinheal nuke to be ready so we can cast a heal that can heal more then a bug bite.
3) Paladin abilities are scaled with other hybrids %wise, yet we don't get the same returns they do. Second spire is a good example.
4) Hastened Holyforge: if this is to be our only offensive disc and its crappy as is, but if its to be, 72 min recast is ridiculous. Shorten it ALOT for its miniscule returns.
5) Like Kyntul said above, many of our abilities scale the same as other classes who get a much bigger benefit out of smaller increases. These kind of things such as our 2nd spire or even things like flurry need to be scaled for the class so that each class gets a similar increase in outcome from the upgrades.

Needs Attention:
1- DPS our sustained is terrible and burst is non existant.
2- Base of our heals need raised
3- Defensive Disc needs tuning so that it works better then just a strong vie spell = )
4- Beacon of Righteous needs to be unresistable
5- Blessing of Light has to be balanced with sks Touch of Cursed currently ours is WAY weaker.
Moving Forward:
1- a real DPS burn disc that is 30mins reuse
2- a HoT component added to all our heals (1-1.2k per tick sounds decent for 3-4 ticks) this way we would have to worry bout receiving new HoT heals and it would increase our current heals all in 1. Use the slot that clerics use for there added hot off heals aa.
3- Devout Fury Lines have a chance to proc Holy Deflection a 6 second deflection proc.
4- Brells line adds more then HP if it be small amount of AC or something to make it more useful.
5- A nuke that has a small chance of converting the mob to undead like necro skellie but actually undead so we can SU it. With the huge lack of undead recently if the % to convert it to undead was quite small it wouldnt be OP and pretty neato. Not sure if code can do it but ya = )

I read at some point the devs said NO to giving us 96% rez. I forget where the discussion was so no link to it but in short, we asked for 96% rez since mercs can 96%, AA dev was not opposed and went to higher ups, higher ups said it was a mistake giving mercs a 96% rez and that pallies wont get it. So i wouldn't hold your hopes for that one too high.
That said, I wouldn't be opposed to shooting for an upgrade to rez that perhaps starts you out with no rez effects and 25% mana or some such. Obv clerics get the same for their better rez.

1. Line of sight problems with splash.
2. Is splash still taking Tash off of enchanters charmed pets?
Needs attention
1.Live and Undead DPS needs to be scaled upwards. DPS on live mobs is just borked. We need undead dps scaled up to put us back on TOP of melee dps for undead.
2. The paladin HoT should have never been outdone by a healing pot. (I could put this in bugs, but I didnt)
3. All of the paladins self imbued healing (blessing of light, SoT, Healing light ect) need to be brought up to date with SK self healing.
4. With more and more increases in other classes DPS the paladin (and others) need to have agro tools scaled back up to balance that out.
5. Beacon needs to be unresistable and reuse timer reset to 5 min
Moving forward
1. The paladin class need something added to it to make it a class more desirable in groups. As in "wow grab that paladin lfg and we will drop the merc" We need someting added that will even have multi boxers drop mercs or boxes for the paladin. (same can be said of SK and warriors to, but who cares about them, they have their own forums).
