I am from Sweden and starting EQ1 from scratch stopped playing when level caps was 65. (Sorry my bad English)
Well i am on a new account and starting from level 1 hehe

Well any tip on what i should think off and where to go i am primary on EU times CET+1 but work strange hours soo...
I think i go AB server.
But any suggestion is welcome or maybe a guild that want a newbie to take under their wings hehe. (Family oriented guild)

Well no pp and confused over all new stuff in the game. All help is weary welcome like quest I must do and mobs i should kill..

Well, a suggestion I've seen but have not personally used, get a warrior merc, as I've been told they are able to solo yellows for you at the low end of the game. Money is easier in the game than it used to be, as long as you loot and sell stuff.

Merc, defiant gears, hotzones, these are the stuff you are likely need to be familiar with in first 70 levels. Use lucy for spells, Alla for general information, then ask specific questions in class forum likely will get your best results.

Also use search option, lots of good information laying around just waiting to be discovered.

Well got me a war jornyman merc is there a way control them like send them in like pet's?
Or do i need to pull all stuff?

yeah you'll need to do all the pulling. They don't have controls like pets do.

Stuns help quite a bit if u time em right

Where can i get a weapon that’s any good!
I am now 17 and feeling my weapon i got from newbie zon don’t cut it anymore.
Well my set up is 1h slashing and shield but should i go 2h maybe?

Is there any 1 or 2h weapon that’s easy to get for around level 20+?
i have a shield whit 20% hast on it

Having fun whit my pally its a fun class to play.

Until much further down the line, like level 80 or something when you can get Shield Specialist AA, you'll do much more damage wielding a 2h weapon instead of sword & shield. You should carry both setups with you, and use the bandolier feature to switch between them. 1h & shield for tanking, 2h for dealing damage. If you're in a situation where you don't want to damage a monster at all (there are situations like that sometimes), you can have a bandolier setup with your shield and hold a lantern in your main hand.

As for where to get a weapon? Well, you can take what you get as it drops from monsters you kill, or you can look in the Bazaar. I think the best you can buy for your level are weapons called Reaver for 2h, and Massive Dragonclaw Shard for 1h.

If you can't get your hands on a Massive Dragonclaw Shard, Jeldorin, Reaver, or any other uber non-level-required weapons then probably your best bet is to stick with Defiant weapons.

"Two Tined Corpse Pitchfork" is a nice 2h weapon, is level 53 recommend but you can use from mid 20s and still do a good avg dmg, you can keep it up to lvl 55 or so, then change.

Blade of Disruption beats almost every other weapon from 20-65, even 2handers.

You can ignore recommended levels on weapons when it comes to ratio, unless you're a Rogue (backstab damage is reduced)

stick with the defiant leveling gear it will keep you way above par for the content your soloing in and yes get yourself a good 2hander you will notice the difference in dps but i doubt you will notice much difference than with sword and shield .................. as your so low level the content your in wasnt designed for stuff like ferocity and cleave mods and all that other stuff like shielding and stuff that you get on the defiant leveling gear............ its cheap as hell and will do you to 70+ at least .............. a tank merc is a verygood idea but also consider a dps merc they kill the mob while you tank it instead of the other way round will keep your skills maxed as you level that way and give you good practice at tanking.
