Which Back?

On progression server we just broke into PoTime a few weeks ago and took down RZ recently. Which back item is better to have?

- Most AC only plate class wearable so less dkp competition.

- Decent AC, 10 avoidance, more hp than Crystal Guard

- Least AC but has 4% shielding, and most hp of all 3. ALL/ALL so chance of casters whoring it.

Would say the platinum cloak, simply because the avoidance on it will actually make the overall ac higher.
I.e. 40 ac + 10 avoidance probably comes out to something like 70 ac displayed on a knight (not sure on specific math for avoidance, I do know it bumps up your ac) and the shield will come out to 75 ac displayed ac, roughly. 10 avoidance over 5 ac gain in mho is a better trade off, not to mention 20 more hp or so.

Other purchases include Greatblade of Chaos for 2hs and Vanazir for 2hb. Also tempted to possibly try to get Quarm clicky AC/resist ring vice RZ ring since they dont stack and resists are never a bad thing. Again however its an all/all item so will be more competitive. Could get both but my plan is to get the Furious Jailor ring for the decent AC and shielding from it. I heard somewhere (can't remember off the top of my head) that all ward buffs stack (ie. Ring from Quarm/Neck from OMM/Mayong Mask) if thisis true that's some major resist and AC buffage.

I might suggest passing on the Vanazir. Once you're wearing some time gear, the 2hb from single group MPG trials is easy enough to obtain, and superior.
