He's a named Centaur that spawns in the western grove area of the zone. We continuously killed Satyr's and regular Centaurs, called Guardians of the Grove, for 4-5 hours and had him spawn 4 times. Only once did he drop the mold, in this case leather. He's a slight pita to kill because he runs from you during the fight almost immediately, and then summons. The first time he did this we had already cleared the grove, so it wasn't much of a problem. We just had to keep chasing him down. The 2nd time there was a full grove spawn and we had 8-9 adds to control while we killed him. The last couple of times we had the Enchanter and Druid load stuns, in addition to my paladin, and kept him locked down while the shaman and necro in the group melted him down. Also, because he does run, its very difficult to pull him back to the group on the initial pull.
We did this with a group of 5 74-75's (Paladin 2650ac, 13500hps, 80avoid, 6 Shield, defensive aa's) all geared with a combination of DoD hard and SS Tier1/2 armor. The actual fights themselves are trivial, except for the one with the adds, without much healing needed. He does snare and blind you though, which isn't a problem unless he's running around the grove. There were no faction hits from the Satyrs or Centaurs, including the named, but I did not kill any of the treants so I'm not sure about them.
There are also some Centaurs on a platform above the grove, in the area with hill giants, but we did not clear any of these so I can't say whether he will spawn there or not. Overall, its similiar to other lower end tier one camps, easy to do for level 75's but not much xp and low drop rates.
edit: We set up camp about 30' south of the Ranger spell vendor at the edge of the grove/western hills. One bear and one centaur path through the area but are easy to control.
