Need pally 1 hander twink advice

I have a 17 pally atm and am looking toget him a good sword that will last him for a while, i can pretty much farm anything under FC/AG/DW. Attunable or no drop, old world or new. Any advice is welcome. Thanks.
Also and good shield choices besides brightstar buckler?

or would be what you are looking for? Of course later when your pally is high enough in level, switch to Blade of Disruption.
If you can get a good group to help you and you can get your paladin up to The Umbral Plains, get a good puller to pull Rumblecrush to the zoneline and kill him and hope he drops . from RC is also nice for paladin twinks if he drops it. No required/recommended levels, but both are no trade so you'll have to loot them from RC on your pally.

Hmmm good ol ghoulbane? And there is a 1hs dropping off a named snake in Sunderrock springs too.
